BE MY LADY Episode 91 & 92

Episode 91

We started with Pinang, Nars and Miggy going out for a meal with doctor Joselito. They joked around and Doc JM could not help laughing at all their antics. Doctor Joselito insisted on paying for their lunch since he rarely went out with them.
After they were done, Pinang said that she had to go home because she told Phil that they would only eat out. Nars and Miggy begged her not to go because it was still early and Pinang told them that she would give them a few seconds to tell her what they would do and the two of them started fussing around. Before time was up, Doc JM suggested bowling and they all agreed to go. Pinang texted Phil that she would go bowling with Nars, Miggy and Doc JM.

Mackie was planning on proposing to Lotlot during their anniversary but he had trouble getting her ring size. He went to see her at school and pretended to surprise her with something. He asked her to close her eyes and look away. He then pulled out a string and wound it on her ring finger, measured it and marked it, then put the string back in his pocket. When Lotlot opened her eyes, there was a bag of food on her hand.

Margaret and Julian stayed behind after class and Margaret asked if he could hang out with Julian but he said that he had to go to the library. Margaret said that she had seen Julian with his father arriving together at school and she asked him whether the two of them had already reconciled. Julian said that they did and Margaret asked him why they had been fighting. Julian did not want to tell her so Margaret took Julian’s assignment papers and threatened to soak them in the sink if he did not tell her. Julian said that he had asked his father permission to court a girl but his father refused. Margaret asked why and Julian explained that his father wanted him to finish school first so that he would have something to offer the girl he would court. Margaret wanted to know who the girl was but Julian did not tell her and said that she knew who the girl was.

After Phil was done with his meeting, he received a call from Chelsea who was upset that Phil had been around for two days and he had not called her. Phil apologized because he had been busy and asked Chelsea out to dinner.

During dinner, Chelsea noticed that Phil seemed very happy. Phil told her that it was because he was with Pinang. He added that he was planning on marrying her but Chelsea told him not to rush into it because she wanted him to enjoy his life and not to marry young. Phil put her at ease and said he would not ask Pinang to marry him immediately but he was going to do everything to prepare for it.

When Phil was done with dinner, he was going to call Pinang when he saw the text saying that she was out with Doc JM, Nars and Miggy. He called Pinang immediately.

Pinang had been having fun bowling with the others when Phil called. He asked her why they were with the doctor and Pinang said that it was Miggy who invited him because they wanted to cheer him up since his patient died. Phil said it was late and Pinang should go home and she said they would go in a while. Phil insisted that he did not like Pinang staying out late when he was not with her and she realized that he was upset. As soon as she got off the call, she told the rest that she was going home. Doc JM asked who would take her home  and Nars said he would accompany her.

Doc JM agreed to stay back and play a few more rounds with Miggy. Miggy noticed the way his mood changed when Pinang left and asked him if he liked her. Doc JM denied it at first but he finally admitted to it. Miggy said that he would not encourage him because Phil was her friend and Doc JM said that he did not know what to do because he could not avoid Pinang and for some reason, they were always together. Miggy told him he could not avoid it because he worked with Pinang. Doc JM then made Miggy promise not to tell anyone about his feelings for Pinang.

Pinang called Phil when she got home but he still sounded upset and said that they would talk when he got back. He had seen photos of them with Doc JM that Miggy had posted and he got more upset.

Phil arrived the following day and waited for Pinang at a restaurant but the waiter brought him a cake before he ordered anything. He said that he did not order anything but the waiter insisted that the order was his. It was a cake with ‘I’m Sorry Bibs’ written on top along with an apple chopped up like a duck. Pinang appeared singing the duck song. She told Phil that she would sing it until he was no longer upset and Phil finally laughed.

When Phil picked up Pinang, he ran into Doc JM as he was leaving and suggested that they go bowling. The doc was taken back but agreed to it. When Pinang and Miggy found them, Phil noticed that Miggy was nervous seeing him talking with the doctor.

Terrence and Rose arrived in the Philippines a few day later and Phil held a little get together for them and invited Nars, Miggy and Pinang. Rose had questions about the house and Pinang answered back as if she lived there and even proposed a tour. Nars hang on to Terrence so he went with him, Rose and Pinang. Phil asked Miggy to stay behind and asked her if the doc had been courting Pinang. Miggy played dumb and told Phil that Pinang loved him so there was no need for him to worry about the doctor. She then ran off to join the others.

Miggy talked to Doc JM the following day and told him that it was better for him to stay away from Pinang and she did not want to be put in a position where she had to lie for him. Nars saw them talking and stalked Miggy until she had no choice but to tell him about the doc’s feelings for Pinang.

As Phil dropped Pinang off for lunch, she told him that he wanted to plan an outing with Nars and Miggy so that they could celebrate the launch of his app.

Doc JM was talking to nurse Malou about his predicament with Pinang when they heard her gasp behind them.

Episode 92

The doc thought that Pinang had heard him say that he had feelings for her but she only heard that he was in love with someone. Pinang was happy to hear that Doc JM was in love and it was the reason why he seemed happy. She congratulated him and went on her way.

Phil and Terrence had a video call with one of the directors from the company that bought their app and they received some sad news. The company said that they had to push their project back because they were going to invest in another app and did not have the funds to invest in their app. Phil asked how long they would have to wait and the director said that it would be around a year and offered them an option to cancel their contract if they could not wait that long.

Phil did not pick Pinang up from work and he called to tell her that a problem came up and he was with Terrence looking for a solution. Pinang agreed to go there and see Rose since they were setting up their new house as well. Rose was worried because of the set back with the app since they were now starting a family and they needed the money. Pinang however managed to cheer her up.

Mackie was planning on taking Lotlot out somewhere fancy on their anniversary but Lotlot said that it would be a waste of money and they were better off saving it for something more important. Mackie decided to forgo the engagement ring and not buy one because it would be too expensive.

Margaret, Julian and their four friends decided to team up again for their next project and Margaret asked Julian not to vandalize their project again. Julian said that he was just making a signature of his work when he wrote on one of the sticks but Margaret said she saw what he wrote. Julian got alarmed and wanted to ask her something but the bell ran and Margaret said that it was time for class.

Terrence and Phil decided to sell their app to another client but when they went to present it to him, the client said that a company in Singapore launched an app with the same concept the previous day and showed it to Phil. Phil realized that the company had stolen their app and repackaged it. He called Pinang to tell him what happened and Pinang said that it was fine since they already had a patent for the app. Phil and Terrence got a lawyer and were planning on suing the company from Singapore.

Pinang asked Nurse Madel to give her an extra shift even for her day off and Nurse Malou said she would give her one.

Pinang had an injury at work because a child hit her arm when she was injecting him. Doc JM checked to see that it was not serious but Phil noticed that Pinang was in pain when he went to pick her up. He was upset because she did not tell him and Pinang said that she did not want to add to his worries since he had problems with his business. Phil told Pinang that she was more important than any app and she should tell him whenever she got hurt. He then took her home to rest.

In the morning, Pinang gave money to Marcy to add to their loan payments and Marcy refused to take it. Pinang had to tell her that Phil was having problems with his business and then ran off before Marcy made her take back the money.

At the hospital, Nurse Malou told Pinang that she would be transferred back to the medical word as head nurse because their nurse there had resigned. Doc JM congratulated Pinang and said that she deserved the promotion because she was responsible and worked diligently.

Margaret’s mother called to congratulate her for passing her exams and asked what she could buy for her. Margaret said that she wanted to take her friend out for a meal and her mother sent her some money.

Margaret invited Julian out and decided to take him to her house instead so that they could study. When they arrived though, Margaret’s mum was the one who opened the door and she was surprised to see her there. Margaret introduced her to Julian who then excused himself and went home so that he could give them time to talk.

Phil, Terrence and their lawyer met a legal representative of the Singapore company who refused to admit that they had stolen the app from them since the app they launched had different coding and a tweaked design. Phil and Terrence got frustrated because they had no grounds to sue and they decided to make another app instead.

Marcy asked Emil to prioritize Phil for their monthly loan payments since he was having problems with his business and Emil agreed to it. Mackie also added some money to the payment while Julian got money from his allowance. Meanwhile, Pinang continued to take extra shifts at the hospital even if everyone worried that she was overworking herself.

The following day, Doc JM was gloomy at the hospital because Pinang was no longer at the ER. Nars and Miggy asked him to go out with them later and he agreed to it. As they ate, Miggy wanted to know if Pinang was the doc’s first love and he said that she wasn’t. They talked about how hard Pinang worked and Miggy explained that it was because they were paying a loan that they took to buy back the farm. That was where we ended…
