The Promise Episode 7

We started with Angelo being locked up in the police station. He refused to contact his family so the police had no option but to detain him.

The following day, Angelo was nowhere to be found so Claudia realized that he did not go home. She asked Liya to call him and they found out that he had been arrested. Eduardo sent one of his employers, Mark to get him out of prison.
Eduardo was mad at Angelo and told Claudia to send Angelo to America because he was causing too much trouble. He also blamed Claudia for not raising him properly but Claudia asked him why he was shifting the blame on her while he was Angelo’s father. Angelo arrived to find them arguing and asked them to stop. Eduardo turned his wrath to Angelo and asked him why he was causing trouble. Eduardo told Angelo to leave the house but Angelo answered back too and told Eduardo that both of them should leave since he too focused on women and alcohol. Eduardo grabbed Angelo’s shirt but Liya came and asked them not to fight.
 Claudia had a talk with Angelo and she asked him what he wanted to do. Angelo told Claudia to send him to America to study cooking because he wanted to be a chef. Claudia didn’t seem to think that cooking was a suitable job for her son and asked Angelo to pick something else.
Back at Yna’s house, Julieta sold all their furniture because Yna’s family had not paid the debt they owed her. Julieta wanted to make Yna go to work aboard so Yna had no choice but to accept in order to pay the debts they owed her. Since she did not have any money for the placement fee, she began working at Julieta’s bar to earn it.


 Claudia had a hotel called Casa Corazon that was not making money and her advisors told her to sell it. Claudia however said that she would never agree to sell it. She later met Mr. P, an illegal financier who gave her money for Eduardo’s campaign to become senator. Mr. P did not like that Angelo was getting in trouble and tarnishing Eduardo’s image so he told Claudia to take care of him. Claudia however told him not to interfere with her son.

At the bar, there was a man who liked Yna and offered to pay Julieta a lot of money to make Yna go with him. Julieta sent Yna out for an errand and gave the man an opportunity to grab her. The man took her in the van and Eduardo who was heading home saw them. Yna was screaming for help so Eduardo along with people helped Yna. The men were arrested and Eduardo comforted Yna by telling her that everything would be fine. That was where we ended…
