We started with Eduardo finding out that the man who wanted to abduct Yna was actually a policeman. He got the man arrested and they found out that it was Julieta who sold Yna to him. Julieta was charged and taken to jail for what she had done to Yna. She tried to lie and say that she didn’t know the man but he had already confessed that Julieta sold Yna to him. Julieta was arrested and detained in jail.
Claudia called Mark to ask about Eduardo and he told her that they had stopped to help a girl. Claudia hang up and called again but Mark didn’t answer so she called David. She wanted to know who the girl was and asked if she was pretty. David told her that the girl was called Yna and she was pretty.
Yna was extremely grateful to Eduardo for saving her and she thanked him along with her parents. Eduardo asked Yna to seek out his help if they ever needed anything.
When Yna got home, she told her parents that she felt close to the governor even though people said that he was the one behind the tragedy at Talimpao.
When Eduardo got home, he was happy and jovial and Claudia noticed that he seemed excited.
The following day, Yna prepared a meal and brought it to the governor’s office. David welcomed her and took her to see Eduardo. He was glad that Yna brought him food and asked her to join him. They were enjoying the food when Claudia suddenly arrived and Yna excused herself.
Claudia wanted to know why Yna was bringing him food and Eduardo said that he didn’t have to explain anything. Instead, he asked Claudia about the gambling rise in Punte Verde. Claudia denied knowing anything about it and instead asked Eduardo to treat Angelo better. She also told him that
Angelo had not gone home the previous day.
Angelo arrived home late in the evening and Eduardo demanded to know where he had been. Angelo said he got wasted and slept with women just like he did. Eduardo therefore decided to confiscate his car and Angelo readily gave it to him.
Julieta was released from jail on bail and Caloy took him to his parents so that they could drop the charges. Isko and Belen refused to withdraw the charges so Julieta kicked them out. They had pawned the house to her to pay for Isko’s treatment so it now belonged to her.
Yna, Red and their parents packed up their stuff and went to stay at Amboy and Egoy’s place where they were given a room. Yna was selling her food to make money so that they could move to a new place and ran into David. She told him about her family’s problems and David told Eduardo about it.
David took Yna to see Eduardo and he gave her a job at his hotel called Casa Corazon. He also gave Isko and Belen jobs including a place to stay and Yna was extremely grateful to him. Yna and her family therefore moved to Casa Corazon.
Angelo ran into some gamblers talking about the governor as their protector and he followed them to their gambling den. When they caught him, he said that he was the governor’s son and asked for his cut. There was a police raid at that moment and Angelo was arrested with the men who ran the gambling den.
Angelo was however released and we ended as Claudia asked him why he kept getting into trouble…
