Kristine Hermosa does not
need an introduction, surely! No one can forget the girl we all fell in love
with as we watched her brilliant portrayal of Yna in The Promise (Pangako Sa Yo)
and Ara in Love is Timeless (Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas) a little after in which she stared
alongside Jericho Rosales (Angelo/ Christian) in both shows.
She of coarse had a brief romance with him through the running of both shows, but here is where things start to get interesting… When filming Love is Timeless, Kristine then started dating her other co-star Diether Ocampo (Leo Madrigal who was introduced later in the show...) Let me provide some photographic proof to aide you jog your memory for those who are yet to remember him…

Hope you can now remember the swagger
with the hair…. And those arms…..
The pair then hopelessly in love went on to get married in 2005 and looked then like the most enviable couple with their careers surging forward as we got to watch some of their shows; Diether ocampo in Only you as Miguel and Kristine Hermosa in Fish-Port Princess as Maningning.
However, things were not as rosy as we thought and 2009 saw them go through a messy annulment as they cited irreconcilable differences, and their marriage was declared null and void! For those of us who don’t know, an annulment is like a divorce, only difference being that it puts the validity of a marriage in question and when it goes through, it erases all records of you having being married such that if anyone asks you if you have ever been married you can confidently answer NO! The state, the records and your subconscious all know that you have “NEVER” been married. How cool is that! But this all brings in the question, how messy does your relationship have to be for you to want to erase all the things that were proof of its existence?

Anyway, after Kristine was ‘not married’
she continued with her career and we were thrilled after she teamed
up with Jericho Rosales again for the epic drama Destined
Hearts (Dahil ma isang ikaw). She met Oyo Boy Sotto and the two eventually got married in 2011. I am
happy to report that they are still going strong and have three kids together
already; their first being born in 2008 while her annulment was finalized in
2009.

On the down side however, Kristine has
not been seen in any significant productions since becoming part of the Sotto
clan as she took time to take care of her Family. We wish her the best.
