Forevermore;The cast backstory... Part 2

This is the continuation of our "Did You Know' segment that i uploaded last week and includes part 2 of the Forevermore Cast backstory . I hope you guys enjoyed the first entry which covered the story of The lead stars Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil (LizQuen). As promised, the second part covers the rest of the cast and i think you'll like this one as well. Here goes....

"Forevermore family

One of Forevermore’s directors, Cathy Garcia-Molina, is renowned for romantic films in the country. Some of her big hits were “One More Chance” and “A Second Chance” starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo, “She’s Dating the Gangster” starring KathNiel, and “Four Sisters and a Wedding” starring Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin, Toni Gonzaga, Shaina Magdayao, and Enchong Dee.
Joey Marquez who played the strict father of Agnes, sir Buboy, was a renowned playboy in his time (1980s). He was also a politician (city mayor) and a former professional basketball player of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
Xander’s mom, Bettina or Lilet, is a good singer and was known as the muse of the Original Pilipino Music (OPM).

Xander’s dad, Alex or Zoren Legazpi, was a popular matinee idol in his time (late 1980s and early 1990s). He and his wife, actress Carmina Villaroel (Alexa in Bridges of Love) had a very interesting love story. Zoren’s loveteam partner, at that time, was Ruffa Gutierrez and Carmina’s was Rustom Padilla. Carmina and Rustom eventually got married in secret in 1994 but separated in 1997. In 2002, Carmina gave birth to twins with Zoren as the father. It created a buzz, but Zoren later revealed that their love story started when he was still around 16 y.o. and Carmina was 13 y.o. He actually courted her and she had a crush on him, but he got diverted to Carmina’s friend, Ruffa. After his split with Ruffa and Carmina’s annulment with Rustom, they rekindled their relationship. In June 2012, Zoren surprised Carmina with his proposal that was instantly followed by a flashmob-style wedding. It was Zoren who planned everything for their wedding. Carmina’s ex would actually confess in mid-2000 that he’s gay.
Sir Banky or Bangkay was known as the King of Horror in the country. He always appeared in horror shows as the dead/zombie (“bangkay” is actually a Tagalog/Filipino term for dead one/corpse). In Book 2 of Forevermore, he will have a love interest (sorry for this tidbit spoiler), the Queen of Horror, Ms. Lilia Cuntapay. Ms. Cuntapay also always appeared as a witch/ghost in horror shows. Unfortunately, I think, this would be Ms. Cuntapay’s last appearance in a TV soap because she died in Aug. 20, 2016. After his stint in Forevermore, Sir Banky appeared as the grandfather of Xian Lim in Kim Chiu and Xian Lim’s 2016 TV soap, “The Story Of Us”.

Kate Saavedra or Sofia Andres and Diego Loyzaga who would play the role of Jay in Book 2 of Forevermore would be close with each other in real life after their Forevermore stint."
That's about it from the email i received and i hope these two entries helped you get more acquainted with the cast of Forevermore. Please let me know your views on these two entries. :)
