GMA announces new Teleseryes for 2017...

We are currently watching a GMA production in Kenya; Beautiful Strangers and since last year, we have pretty much become Kapusos, having watched  three GMA shows consecutively.  A few days ago, the Kapuso network announced more shows for 2017 and I figured that it was great news to share since we may be watching them in the future. Below is the list of the shows...


1. I Heart Davao

This will star My Destiny stars Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez (TomCar). This will be their reunion project since starring together in My Destiny back in 2014. Recently, Tom did an interview with PEP entertainment where he said that he wished to star in a new soap with rumored girlfriend Carla Abellana. I heart Davao will revolve around Carla's character who will receive a heart transplant that will change her life as well as her love life.

2. Alex and Amie

This will star My Faithful Husband star Mikael Daez alongside Andrea Torres and the story will revolve Alex (Mikael) and his invisible friend Amie (Torres) who will make his personal and professional life more interesting.

3. The Good Teacher

This will star Marian Rivera and will mark her return on GMA prime time after her special participation in Encantadia 2016. Marian has not had a major show for a while since she has been focusing on taking care of her daughter Maria Letizia who she gave birth to in 2015.

4. Alyas Robinhood (Book 2)

 
This is a continuation of Alyas Robinhood book 1, starring Dingdong Dantes, Megan Young (Mikael Daez's girlfriend), Sid Lucero and Andrea Torres. The story is about Dantes' character, Pepe De Jesus who is blamed for his father's murder but escapes on his way to jail then takes on a different identity to find the culprit behind his father's murder.
