Episode 47
We started with Kara and Seb arriving at the scene where
Sara and Banjo had their accident.
Sara cried and told them to help Banjo
because the call fell down the ravine. The police arrived and took out Banjo
but he was already dead.
Everyone was distraught over Banjo’s death and the most
affected was Cynthia. She threw Sara out of Banjo’s wake and said that it was
her fault that Banjo was gone. She told Sara that she should have let Banjo
leave as he had planned to because he was going to start a new life instead of
dragging him into her problems. Kara defended Sara and told Cynthia that the
person who was really to blame was Alex.
Alex was determined to get Sara out of the way so that she
could exact her revenge and when she saw the anger that Cynthia had for Sara,
she came to the conclusion that she now had an ally. When everyone left Banjo’s
wake, Cynthia stayed behind and Alex went to see her. She told Cynthia that she
had nothing to do with Banjo’s death and asked Cynthia to partner up with her
so that they could take revenge on Sara.
Edward returned from Japan to see how Sara was doing after
Banjo’s death and said that he wanted to be there for her as a friend. Sara
asked Edward to stay away from her because Cynthia had been right to say that
anyone who got close to her always got hurt.
Later that evening, Alex called Kara to tell her that she
would never stop making their lives miserable because she was the cause of all
her misfortune. Kara put her on loud speaker and Seb asked Alex to stop what she
was doing and surrender but Alex said that she would never do such a thing.
Sara was next to talk to Alex and she swore that she was going after her and
would not stop until Alex paid for what she had done to her family.
Sara was very emotional during the call so Kara talked to
her later about the hatred she felt for Alex and asked her not to let her anger
consume her like it had done once before because it would not do her any good.
During Banjo’s funeral, Sara stayed away from the burial ceremony
and went to speak to Cynthia once all the mourners had left. She promised
Cynthia that she would make Alex pay for what had happened to Banjo and Cynthia
told her to do it and if she was died in the process, it would be the only way
Cynthia would forgive her. After Sara left, Cynthia decided that she would make
Alex think that they were working together then make her and Sara confront each
other.
Sara had given Arellano the address of the hotel that she
had seen Alex in and he went there to investigate if there was anyone with her
name on the guest list. He was told that Alex was not there and went back with
no information about Alex.
Since Seb was worried about his family with Alex lurking
around, he decided that it was good to move somewhere that Alex did not know
about. Sara remembered Grandma Karing’s house and gave him the address. Kara
left with the children, Laura, Itoy and Andy.
Once they settled at the house, Kara decided to go back home
and check on Sara because she was worried about what Sara might do.
Sara visited Cynthia at Club Felicidad and told her that she
was going out to look for Alex. Cynthia already knew where Alex was because she
went to meet her at her safe house. She told her that Sara was going to look
for her at her hotel and Alex only laughed because she had moved out of there
the moment she realized that Sara knew about it. Alex however played a trick on
Sara by making an appearance at the hotel and made sure that Sara saw her.
Sara was in a hurry to catch up with Alex when knocked over
a huge vase. The hotel staff went to her and said that she had to pay 40,000
Pesos for breaking it. Sara could not afford it so she called Kara over and she
paid for it. Kara asked Sara
to stop going after Alex because she was putting herself in danger but Sara
said that she was willing to die if it meant that she was going to get rid of
Alex in order to keep her family safe.
Episode 48
Arellano continued to investigate Alex and went to speak to
Seb and Kara to give them his latest lead. He thought that Alex was probably
using an Alias name which was why he had not been able to find her. He also
asked Seb and Kara not to go looking for Alex at her hotel.
Unfortunately, Sara was already there. Kara called her
immediately after Arellano left and told her not to go looking around for Alex.
Sara said that she would not leave the hotel until she found Alex. Kara realized
with Sara’s answer that she was already there.
Alex had a trap set for Sara at the hotel and led her to the
Penthouse to the top of the hotel where she had a bomb set up the moment Sara
turned on the light. Cynthia however went to the hotel to rescue Sara and told
her that it was a trap that Alex had set up for her. They left the hotel and
Cynthia took to see Alex since they had planned to meet.
When they arrived at the meeting place, Alex was furious to
see Sara still alive since she already thought that she had gotten rid of her.
She was also furious at Cynthia for deceiving her. Cynthia handed Sara a gun
and told her that it was time for her to finish what she had promised to do.
She left the two of them then called the police and gave them the address of
the place.
Sara was scared when Cynthia left the gun with her but she
finally got the courage to point it at Alex when she tried to leave. She told
Alex that she would not let her go because she had to pay for everything that
she had done to her family, Edward and especially to Banjo. Alex told Sara that
she was too much of a coward to use the gun and eventually tried to take it
from her. They started fighting over the gun and Alex ended up getting shot on her
thigh.
One of Alex’s men went to help her and they escaped but Sara
joined Cynthia outside and they drove after Alex. Seb called Sara to ask where
she was and she said that she was going after Alex. Sara had the phone on loud
speaker and Cynthia told Seb where Alex’s hideout was. Seb called Arellano and
told him where Alex’s safe house was.
Alex had her things packed up and ready to leave the safe
house but Sara and Cynthia arrived. She was not able to escape because she
still had her gunshot wound and Sara went to stop her from leaving. She still
had the gun with her when Seb arrived. He tried to talk Alex into turning
herself in but she once again said that it would never happen. She hit Sara and
went after the gun because Sara dropped it. When Alex got the gun, she aimed it
at Sara but Seb covered her and took the bullet! He was shot on the head and
collapsed immediately! Alex rushed over to him saying that she did not mean to
shoot him. Arellano arrived then and arrested Alex who was still crying over
Seb.
Seb was rushed to the hospital and Kara went there to see to
Seb. Sara was there as well but Kara was furious at her and said that it was
her fault that Seb got hurt so she asked Sara to leave the hospital. Seb’s
gunshot injury was serious and he was comatose. The doctor said that the
chances of him waking up from it might be in a matter of days or weeks or he
may never wake up.
Laura learnt that Alex
had been arrested. Seb had been shot,
she returned back home with the children, Andy and Itoy. Sara was the one who
told Hannah and Becca what happened to Seb and asked them not to worry because
he was recovering at the hospital.
The police went to arrest Cynthia as well for having
connived with Alex but Sara dropped the charges against her. Kara was not happy
because she was partly to blame for what happened to Seb but Sara told her that
Cynthia was like family to her and she would not allow her to go to jail.
Arellano spoke to the two of them about Alex’s son and told Kara that she might
have to take custody of him since she was the closest relative able to do it.
Alex was taken to prison and when her lawyer went to visit
her, she asked about her son. The lawyer said that he would be given to
Patricia or Kara, but it would most likely be Kara because she had the capability
to take care of him. Alex became hysterical and screamed that Kara should not
take care of her son. The police arrived to take her away and that’s where we
ended…
