Beautiful strangers leading ladies Lovi Poe and Heart
Evangelista alongside My Destiny star Carla Abellana are all set to be part of
GMA’s new Fantaserye Mulawin vs Ravena. The show will replace Encantadia, which
is another Fantaserye currently running on GMA primetime.
Mulawin vs Raven is a sequel of 2004 hit show Mulawin
starring Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin, who are no longer Kapuso artists.
Mulawin vs Ravena is a fantaserye about a half-human, half-bird tribe called
the Mulawin. Mulawins live in the forests and cannot move away since they gain
their strength from trees. They are however forced to move further into the
forests as the human race continues to grow and keeps destroying the forests
that the Mulawins live in for development. The Mulawins do not confront the
humans and so, an antagonist group breaks up from the Mulawins and call
themselves the Ravenas.

GMA announced an ensemble cast who will topbill the show
last week. The cast comprises of Kapuso’s elite artists. Alongside Lovi Poe,
Heart Evangelista and Carla Abellana are Dennis Trillo, Tom Rodriguez, Regina
Alcasid, Bea Binene, Derrick Monasterio, TJ Trinidad, Miguel Tanfelix, Bianca
Umali, Kiko Estrada among others.
