Christopher De Leon's daughter wins Miss International-PH!

A few weeks ago, we shared on our "Did you know" Friday posts that Beautiful Strangers star Christopher De Leon (Ronaldo Castillo) has eight children. Four of them are adopted while he has a son with first wife Nora Aunor and three with second and current wife, actress Sandy Andolong. On Sunday evening, one of his daughters, Mariel De Leon won the Miss International-Philippines.


The coronation of The Philippines' six beauty queens; Binibing Pilipinas was held on the 30th of April and  was hosted by Xian Lim and Miss Universe 2015 winner Pia Wurzbach. The list titles crowned on that evening include Miss Universe, Miss Globe, Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental, Miss Grand International and Miss International which Mariel De Leon won. Kapamilya actor, Paulo Avelino was also part of the event as a judge.

When asked about how he felt after his daughter's win, Christopher De Leon had this to say; "I am so proud of her. I’ve been dreaming of this. I’ve been wanting something really, really good for Mariel."

Mariel's brother, Beautiful Strangers star Gabriel De Leon (Rex) was also there to support her along with their parents.
