Episode 45
We started with Paulo and Patricia at the foundation and
they were getting ready to go home.
Paulo kept looking at the door and his view
was in Patricia’s was so she asked him to stop looking at her. Paulo said that
he was looking to see if his friend was done so that they could leave but
Patricia said that he was lying. Andy walked in and told Paulo that he would be
done in a while so that they could go and after he left, Paulo told Patricia
that he had not been lying. Julio walked
in to get Patricia and asked her to wait for him in the car as he stayed behind
to warn Paulo to keep away from his sister.
Julio went to meet up with Alex later and as he waited for
her, he called the house to ask the nanny to make sure that Patricia slept
early. Alex walked in when he was on the phone and she told him that he admired
the way he took care of his sister adding that if Seb was like Julio, she
probably wouldn’t be seeking revenge and doing awful things.
Edward and his workmates celebrated the launch of Becca’s
campaign which was already set and Edward told them that he wanted to give
himself and Sara another chance because he had fallen for her again and he
thought that she felt the same about him.
Sara talked to Cynthia about how Edward had defended her
from his mother and said she did not deserve him because he was so thoughtful.
Cynthia asked her whether she was still in love with Edward and she told her
that she had never stopped loving him.
Chloe met her friend who was a doctor to give her the DNA
samples to test BEcca’s paternity and a fogged document as consent from Edward
to carry out the test.
Banjo was taking care of Becca at the club and she told him
that she thought her Momma wanted to transfer her to another school because she
did not let her go to school even after her leg was healed and she had also
seen a brochure of a school. Banjo asked her not to overthink things but Becca
told him that her Momma wanted her to transfer because of the fight she had
with Hannah and Kara. She therefore asked Banjo to take her to Kara’s so that
she could invite her to her commercial launch and that way, Kara and Sara would
have a chance to make up.
Banjo took Becca to Kara’s house and she invited everyone to
go to Becca’s launch. Kara said that she would love to go but it was all up to
her mother.
When Banjo and Becca returned to the club, Sara gave them a scolding
for going to see Kara while she was trying to keep Becca from going there.
Banjo told her that they did not tell her because they knew she would get mad
but Becca told Sara that she only wanted to see Kara and Laura because she
missed them and wanted to invite her to her launch. She begged Sara to let them
go because she wanted all of them there so Sara agreed.
On the eve of the launch, Sara and Becca walked into their
house and find the lights on. Sara was alarmed and when they got to the
bedroom, they found wrapped gifts but Sara told Becca to be careful because it
might be a bomb. Becca opened the bag anyway and it was a gift from Edward for
Sara as well as a rose and a note. When they opened it, it was a new dress.
On the day of the launch, Sara wore the dress that Edward
had left. Edward went to get them to take them to the commercial launch and
brought more gifts. He gave Becca a bracelet while he got Sara a necklace that
he helped her put on.
Meanwhile, Hannah did not want to go to Becca’s launch but Kara
told her that all of them were going so there would be no one left behind to
take care of her so she too had to go. Seb also reminded her that she had to
apologize to Becca sincerely when she saw her there.
At the launch, Sara and Edward received congratulations from
the client for their talented daughter. The client referred to Sara as Mrs.
Ligaya and Sara wanted to correct her but Edward cut in and played along with
it. After the client left, he told Sara that Mrs. Ligaya had a nice ring to it
and he wanted to make it official. Sara asked him to stop joking around and Edward
was about to get serious but they were interrupted and Edward was told that he
was needed back stage.
Becca had a succeful launch and her entire family went to
the party including Banjo and Cynthia. During the middle of the event, Edward
told Sara that they had not finished their conversation and asked to speak to
her privately.
Chloe received the DNA results from her friend and they were
negative. She got upset that Sara had lied to her and Edward about Becca being
Edward’s daughter.
Edward took Sara to a private section and told her that he
was serious about building a family with her because he loved her. Sara told
Edward that she loved him too but she could not be with him because she was not
the right woman for him. Edward tried to convince her that they could build a
life together but Sara said that she had something to tell him. Just then,
Chloe stormed in and slapped Sara for her lies.
Alex saw Chloe walk in and sneaked in the room they were to
turn on the microphone. Everyone heard Chloe scream at Sara that Edward was not
Becca’s father. Kara, Seb, Laura, Andy, Itoy, Paulo, Alex and Hannah and the
rest of the guests went to see what the commotion was about. Chloe gave Edward
the DNA results and he turned to Sara to ask her of it was the truth. Sara only
kept quiet and Edward got frustrated because her silence confirmed the truth.
He stormed out of the room and Chloe followed him.
Becca joined the commotion too so Itoy took her away along
with Hannah as the rest asked Sara if what Chloe said was true. Sara refused to
answer them and told them that she wanted to be alone and then left.
When Sara and Becca got home, Becca asked her if it was true
that Edward was not her Poppa and Sara told her that it was true. She
apologized to Becca for lying to her and said that she only did it because
Becca seemed so happy when she learnt that Edward was her father. They both
cried as Sara hugged Becca.
Episode 46
Laura and the rest of the family returned home after the
incident and Laura said that she would not believe Chloe until Sara confirmed it
herself.
Kara and Seb talked about the issue with Sara and Becca’s
paternity and they both wondered who the father of Becca was. Seb however said
that it was Sara’s business and they had no right to interfere.
After Sara put Becca to bed, she found Banjo outside and he
told her that he wanted to be there for her because he knew she needed a
friend. She asked Banjo if he was upset with her but Banjo told her that he
knew she lied because of a good reason to have done it.
Meanwhile, Edward was furious with Chloe for having ruined
his night so he went out to drink. He tried to call Sara but she never answered
his calls. He had to be kicked out of the club because he got too drunk and
started to cause a raucous.
Edward went to Sara’
house late into the night and banged at her door. He told her that he would not
leave until she talked to him so Sara opened the door for him. Edward begged
Sara to tell her that what his mother said was not true and that Becca was his
daughter because he wanted to build a family with her. Sara got out of Edward’s
grasp and told him that what his mother said was true. Edward wanted to know
why she had lied to him but Sara could not give him a reasonable explanation.
Edward surmised that Sara was only after his money and wanted revenge for what
he had done to her in the past. He took out his wallet and threw all the money
in it at Sara then left. Sara was left crying and said that he could not
understand.
The following morning, Cynthia went to visit Sara to see how
she was doing. Sara told her that she felt guilty for hurting Becca and Edward
but she had to protect her daughter at all cost. Sara told Cynthia that she
would not be able to go to the club that evening. Sara asked her why that was
the case and Cynthia told her that some of the workers at the club were looking
for Jobs abroad.
After Cynthia left, Chloe barged in and slapped Sara. She
demanded to know where Edward was and slapped Sara for lying to Edward. Becca
watched the commotion from her room and called Kara to tell her what was
happening at their house. Kara told Becca that she would go see her.
Itoy and Laura went to see Sara and they found Chloe
fighting with her. They defended Sara and Laura asked Laura that she did not
teach her daughter to be a good woman because she was just a slut. Laura
slapped Chloe and they sent her away.
After Chloe left, Sara told Laura and Itoy that Chloe was
right and Edward was not Becca’s father. They then asked her who he was but
Sara refused to explain anything to them. When Itoy and Laura got home, they
told Seb and Andy that Sara had confirmed that Edward was not Becca’s father.
Laura speculated that this might have been the reason why Sara had been keeping
Becca away from them. They all wondered who Becca’s father could be because
they knew Sara was not the type to date around and the only person she had ever
been with was Edward.
Kara arrived at Sara’s house and saw Becca outside. She went
to console her because she was crying and the first question that Becca asked her was who her father was. Kara told
her that only her Momma could tell her that and hugged her. When Sara could not
find Becca in the house, she went to look for her outside and found her with Kara.
She told Becca to go back into the house as she stayed behind to talk to Kara. Kara
told Sara to be honest with Becca about her father because she was only
confusing the child. Sara told Kara that Becca was her daughter and she knew
what was best for her.
Seb continued with the search for Isabella in Sampaloc and
learnt that there were people who knew someone who had found a child outside
her doorstep 7 years ago and Seb asked to talk to the person.
Sara inquired from her coworkers about their search for a
job abroad since she intended to leave the country with Becca. She went to the
job agency and was amazed to find out that the woman who had helped her while
she was in Japan owned the agency. Sara was surprised to see her there since
she was the only one who knew of her daughter’s death. She said that she had
somewhere else to be so she ran off.
Patricia tried to apologize to Paulo because of her brother
but Paulo told her that they could not become close because she was out of his
league. Patricia was mad because she was only trying to apologize to him but he
acted like a snob. Later, Paulo took a look at Patricia’s computer and got to
learn that she was the person who wrote some love storied that he had been reading
on line.
Alex listened in on the conversation at the house and
realized that Sara was bent on keeping the secret of Becca’s real identity a
secret so she decided to devise a plan to reveal the truth.
