Episode 47
We started with Kara arriving at the club after her fleeing
from the agency.
She told Cynthia that she had to leave soon because she had
met Andrea; the woman who had helped her in Japan and already knew that her baby
had died. Cynthia told Sara that it was time she tell the truth because things
were catching up to her but Sara did not want to.
When Sara went to see her family, she learnt that Kara and
Seb had made some progress in looking for Isabella because they were going to
meet someone who had information about a child that was found in Sampaloc. They
also planned on calling the police so that the person could be arrested and
Sara practically flew out of there.
When Sara got back to her house, she was surprised when Andrea
visited her. Andrea brought Sara the documents that she was filling at her
recruitment Agency since she forgot to fill them fully but she had written down
her address which was how Andrea had found her. Andrea saw pictures of Becca at
Sara’s place and was curious to know how her life was after she left Japan but
Sara did not want to tell her anything. Andrea also saw the Becca sleeping and
was delighted to learn that Sara was able to have another child. Andrea was
getting a little nosy so Sara asked her to leave because she had to go to work.
With Andrea’s return, Sara was more determined to leave the
country with Becca before anyone learnt the truth. Becca woke up from her nap
and saw the brochures from the agency. She asked Sara whether she was going to
leave the club and work abroad and Sara told her that the two of them would go
together. Becca told Sara that she did not want to leave the people at the club
as well as Laura and Kara.
Seb and Kara went to see the detective who they had hired
and went to talk to the woman who said she knew someone who got a child from
nowhere. Unfortunately, the supposed woman had adopted a baby boy and it was not
Isabella so they asked the detective to keep investigating.
She started looking for extra work so that she could get enough
money to go abroad with Becca and Banjo helped her get find a new job. Cynthia
told Banjo that he should be the one persuading Sara to stay because he was in
love with her but Banjo said he wanted to help Sara and would also go with her
once she decided to leave. After getting Sara a job, Banjo also linked Sara
with someone who would process their documents.
Hannah’s teacher talked to Becca about her failing in an
exam that she seemed to have done on purpose because she erased the right
answers and wrote wrong ones. When Seb spoke to Hannah about it, it was clear
that she flanked her exams willingly so that Kara could keep teaching her and
thus pay more attention to her.
Kara went to visit Sara but ran into Becca outside their
house. Becca looked sad and Kara asked her what was wrong so Becca told Kara
that her Momma planned on going abroad but
she did not want to because she would miss Kara and Laura. Sara arrived before
Becca could say anymore and when Kara tried to talk to her, Sara told her to
leave.
When Kara got home, she told her family about Sara’s plans
to go abroad but Laura told everyone not to worry because she would not let Sara
make them go through what they had before when she left for Japan.
Sara was out with Banjo and left Becca in Cynthia’s care.
Laura went to look for Sara at her house and found Cynthia instead. She said
she wanted to wait for Sara so that they could talk so Cynthia left her with
Becca and went to the club.
Alex heard Kara say that Sara planned on going abroad and
planned to do something to stop her because she would take Becca away and the
truth would never be revealed. She talked to Julio about the issue and he
offered to help her.
Episode 48
Alex and Julio got some men to go and look for something
that would sell Sara away at her house. They were both outside in Julio’s car
watching out for the outcome of their plan. Unfortunately, the men heard voices
in the room and had to retreat because they could not go there with people
inside.
Laura and Becca waited for a long time for Sara and when she
did not return, Laura took Becca out for some food because they were already
hungry. When Julio saw them leave the house, he called the men and asked them
to go in and grab whatever useful thing they could find.
Laura forgot her wallet in the house so she and Becca went
back too soon and Alex could hardly handle that they would be caught. When
Laura saw that the door was open, she asked Becca to stay outside as she went
inside the house. Julio called his men and told them that they would get
caught.
Sara and Banjo arrived home and found Becca outside. Sara
asked her why she was there and Becca told her that they found the door open
when they got back and Laura had gone to check what was happening. Sara wanted
to go in but Banjo asked her to stay with Becca and call the police.
Laura was attacked by the two men in the house and she was
trying to fight them off when Banjo arrived. He got them off her but the men
took whatever they had gathered and ran off. Banjo ran after them and Sara took
Becca into the house. She left her with Laura as she followed Banjo.
Banjo caught the two men and Sara went to help him. One of
the men held a gun to her so she stopped fighting but Edward who had gone to
see Sara pulled up and helped Sara. The police arrived too and when Julio saw
that his men might be caught, he told them to get into the car and drove off.
Bullets were flying as the police fired and Julio got shot on his arm.
When Julio and Alex returned to the safe house, Alex was the
one who pulled out Julio’s bullet because they could not take him to the
hospital. She bandaged and took care of him because she wanted to thank him for
helping her and taking care of her. Julio called Patricia and told her that he
had to go out of town for an unexpected meeting because he could not go home
with a gunshot wound.
Edward, Banjo and Sara
returned to the house and Edward asked if Becca she was fine. She told him she
was okay and asked him if he was still upset with her because she was not his
daughter. Edward told her that he was not mad at her because it was not her
fault. Becca told Edward that she still felt he was his father and asked him
for a hug. When Edward hugged her, Becca said that she had missed him.
Banjo warned Edward to stay away from Sara because all he
did was hurt her. Sara joined them and asked Edward what he was doing there.
Edward had gone to give Sara the cheque for Becca’s payment and asked to talk
to her in private after Sara signed the receipt. Banjo left them alone and
Edward asked Sara why she was acting as if she did nothing wrong. Sara told him
that she had only used him because she was a bad person and was after his
money. She turned to leave but Edward caught her arm and told her that he knew
she was lying to him. Sara told him not to act as if he knew her but Edward
insisted that she was not being honest. Edward told Sara that despite her
deception, he still loved her and asked Sara if she loved him.
Sara tried to divert the question but she ultimately
admitted that she loved Edward and it was the only truth among all the lies she
had told. Edward asked her why she had lied to him, why she had gone to Japan
and why she was mad at him. Sara told Edward that he the cause of all her misfortune.
She almost told him what happened to her in Japan but she caught herself in
time and told Edward to leave.
Laura helped her
clean up the mess the men had create and when Kara called to ask her where she
was, Laura told her about the incident. Since it was late, Kara and Seb went to
pick up Laura. Laura wanted to stay and convince Sara not to go abroad but a
hard headed Sara refused to listen to her and asked her to go home.
Among the things that Julio’s men got from Sara were Rebecca’s
(Sara’s real daughter) death certificate from Japan. Alex had it translated and
sent to Kara but she was not able to
open it because Camille Rose arrived and asked her to go through some documents
for work. Andy and Camile Rose taught Hannah to make Origami but Hannah had
trouble with it and ran out of paper. She saw the envelopes on the table and
took the documents inside and used them to make the origami patterns.
When Alex got home, she expected to find Kara distressed but
she was her normal self. Alex asked if the mail had arrived because she was
waiting for something important. She said this to make Kara look over it but
Kara could not find the mail and told Alex that she had misplaced it.
Sara was puzzled by the theft incident because the men only
took Becca’s things and her documents were missing as well. She told Cynthia
that she suspected Alex might have done it.
Banjo fixed the locks to Sara’s house when he was taking
care of Becca. He left her alone to go get her some food and when he was gone,
someone came to visit. It was Andrea. Becca
opened the door and Andrea told her that she was her mother’s friend. She introduced
herself as Andrea and asked Becca for her name. When Becca said her name,
Andrea was puzzled because Sara’s other daughter was also called Rebecca.
Andrea then wanted to see Sara but Becca told her that Sara was at work. She
asked to wait for her but Becca politely told her that she was not allowed to
let any strangers in. Andrea told Becca to tell Sara that she had dropped by
and we ended as she left…
