We started with Claudia and Yna alone at the table .
Claudia asked Yna if she thought she was the right woman for Angelo because he
was the governor’s son and would inherit a lot. She asked Yna why she had taken
so long to accept Angelo insinuating that she only wanted to use his influence
and money.
As Angelo and Eduardo prepared the coffee for desert, Liya
walked in and Angelo asked her why she had left Yna alone with their mother.
Liya said that she went to fix her hair and Angelo rushed out of the kitchen
with the tea. He set it down the tray and clutched Yna’s hand under the table.
Yna was on edge from Claudia’s interrogation but Angelo’s gesture seemed to
give her the strength to answer Claudia. Eduardo and Liya joined them as Yna
told Claudia that she was not with Angelo to take advantage of his status
because she had her dreams that she wanted to achieve by her own hard work. Her
answer impressed everyone and Liya even applauded but Claudia was not happy.
When Angelo took Yna home, he praised her courage for
answering his mother the way she did because not many people could have done
it. They both looked forward to Yna starting her job and Buena Corp so that
Claudia would get to know her and Angelo was sure that his mother would like Yna.
The following day, David told Eduardo that he wanted them to
do further research on the company that had offered to sponsor Eduardo’s
campaign. He wanted to keep Eduardo from accepting the money since it would
lead to his downfall but Mark said that they had already done a background
check so there was no need for them to
so it again. Eduardo told both of them that it was his day off and he had to go
somewhere so he left them to decide on that issue.
Amor received the name of an orphanage that David
recommended he visit. When she went there, she found Eduardo playing with the
kids The nuns there told her that Eduardo visited the foundation every 15th
day of the month and had seen most of the children grow up since he had been
going there for years. Eduardo asked the children to go get a beautiful woman
so that they could play and the children got Amor. They then asked for a hug
which made Amor and Eduardo huddle up together.
Claudia requested the head chef at Buena Corp to give Yna
all sorts of jobs and give her a hard time. When Yna arrived for work, the chef
told her to prepare some coffee for the madam and make it really sweet because
that was the way she liked it.
Yna prepared coffee and brought it to Claudia but when she
found her in a meeting. Claudia told her to bring coffee for her guests as well
because she did not want to drink by herself. When she took a sip at the
coffee, she spilled it on the table and told Yna that she drunk black coffee
with no sugar. Yna cleaned up the spilled coffee and went to get another cup.
When she returned to the kitchen, she told the chef to give her clear
instructions so that she could do her job well.
Yna was then asked to clean the dishes as well as the floor
until someone asked why she was doing it when she was supposed to be the
assistant chef. She therefore asked the chef to give her cooking duties because
she had been hired to cook but the chef told her that she was hired to do
whatever she asked.
Claudia called Angelo and gushed about how hard working Yna
was and that she was starting to like her; which delighted Angelo.
Yna made some food for Claudia but when she went to take it to her, she
spilled some on the floor as she prepared to plate it. Claudia got upset with
her for being clumsy then stepped on her hands as she got up from her desk. She
told Yna that they were always busy at Buena Corp which made her stressed and
irritable so she should get used to being reprimanded and corrected.
Angelo decided to pick up Yna from work and he walked into
Claudia’s office just as Claudia was talking
to Yna. Angelo asked Yna how her day was and Yna said that it was fine,
much to Claudia’s relief. Claudia asked Angelo to go take care of his car which
he had parked wrongly and when he left, she asked Yna if she wanted to quit.
Yna said she would not because she was there to learn.
As Angelo drove Yna home, he noticed that she was nervous
and uncomfortable so he asked her to tell him whether she was really doing well
at her job because if his mother was giving her a hard time, it would be okay
of she stopped working there. Yna said
she was fine working there and was nervous because his mother seemed very
strict.
When David got home, Amor asked him whether he had referred
her to the orphanage because of Eduardo and David said that he only wanted her
to see that Eduardo was not a bad man.
Meanwhile, Diego tried to persuade Lourdes to marry him in
secret but she did not want to do it because she would have to leave him
according to Amor’s orders.
Claudia had her assistant read her cards and she was told
that a woman would be the cause of her downfall; this woman being Yna and we
ended as Claudia swore to get her out of their lives.
