Episode 1
We started with Banjo taking care of Becca at the club. She
asked him where Sara was and Banjo asked her to sleep as they continued to wait
for Sara.
At the police station, Sara tried to beg Kara and Seb not to
file any charges. She explained that she just found Becca and Kara asked her
when she learnt that Becca was Isabella. Sara said that she started suspecting
it after they got the Sampaloc address but confirmed it when she saw Isabella’s
picture. Kara told Sara that she should have told them about it the moment she
found out and maybe they would have forgiven her but now it would not be easy
for them to disregard the fact that she had tried to run away with her
daughter. Sara pleaded by saying she had returned to tell them the truth but
Seb said she did that only when she realized that she would get caught. Sara
said she tried to tell them about it after she found out but she just couldn’t
bear hurting Becca. Laura begged Kara and Seb not to file charges against Sara
but they were adamant on doing it. They filed the charges and Sara was taken to
jail.
Seb talked to his lawyer about the case and his lawyer said
the case was weak because they did not have enough evidence to charge Sara with
kidnapping.
Banjo tried to reach Sara after waiting for her for a while
but it was Itoy who answered the phone. He told Banjo that Sara had gone to the
police station with Kara and Seb to because they had charged her with
Kidnapping.
Banjo went to visit Sara in prison and told her that Becca
was fine although she kept asking for her. Sara apologized to Banjo for almost
dragging him in her problems but Banjo said he would do anything to protect
her.
Kara, Seb and Laura met with a social worker about attaining
Becca’s custody but the social worker said that they just couldn’t be given the
child because they had to consider what effect the news of her being their
daughter might have on her. Laura asked the social worker to let her have
custody of Becca because she knew her as well as Seb and Kara and it would be
better for her to stay with them instead of with strangers. The social worker
therefore decided to interview Becca first and see what she had to say before
coming to a decision.
Kara and Seb approached Banjo and asked him to take them to
Becca but Banjo refused to do it. Seb threatened to involve him in the case
they were filing against Sara so Banjo took them to the club to see Becca.
Becca woke up hoping that her Momma was finally back but she
saw Kara, Seb and Laura. Cynthia, Banjo and the social worker were there too. Kara
and Seb went to hug her and sit by her side Becca asked them where her mother
was. Kara said that she had gone on a trip, but Becca wanted to know why she
had not been told about it. Everyone ignored here question and looked away. Becca
asked why they had all visited her and Seb was about to tell her the truth but
Laura stopped him. Kara cut in told Becca that they only wanted to see her.The
social worker went to talk to Becca and asked her about her relationship with
Sara, Kara and Seb. Becca said that she loved all of them very much because
they were her family.
Seb was not happy that they had not told Becca the truth but
Kara told him that they had to consider Becca’s feelings. They visited a child psychologist
to ask for advice about how best to handle the issue and the psychologist told
them that they made a good decision not to tell Becca the truth first. She
added that Becca was too young and needed to be prepared before they told her
the truth otherwise she would become traumatized. She added that it was best
that Sara be the one to tell Becca the truth because she was the person that
Becca identified as her mother and would therefore understand things better if
the news came from her.
They were then allowed to take Becca home but Becca was down
and refused to eat because she missed Sara and no one told her where her Momma
was. Hannah added salt to the wound by telling Becca that maybe Sara had gotten
tired of her and left her alone.
Edward called Alex to ask about Sara since he could not
reach her on her phone. Alex told Edward that one could not receive calls in
jail because Sara had been arrested for kidnapping Isabella.
When Edward went to see Sara in prison, he ran into Banjo at
the front desk and the two of them almost came to blows. Laura found them
facing each other down and told them to leave because they were only causing
trouble. She then asked the front desk if Sara’s lawyer had arrived but the officer told her
that no lawyer had yet to come and Edward hear this before he left.
Kara and Seb gathered the family to tell them that they had
filed a lawsuit against Kara but Andy asked them not to act out of anger by
sending Sara to jail. Seb said that they were only seeking justice and if Sara
was innocent, she could prove it in jail. Seb also said that they were yet to
tell Becca the truth because they had to prepare her mentally for it but Alex
said it was not right for them to lie to her. Seb got angry with Alex’s meddling
and told her that if he dared to tell Becca anything then she would leave the
house.
Seb had to break Hannah and Becca apart after they had a
fight and Hannah even told Seb to make Becca leave because she was not his daughter.
Seb discussed the issue with Kara and told her that they had to prepare Hannah
for the news too because they needed the children to get along.
Sara’s lawyer arrived and told her that she did not need to
pay him because the case was pro bono. He also gave her the lovely news that he
had gotten her out on bail and she could already go home.
Episode 2
Laura called Sara to tell her that Sara was out on bail and
they would be going home. She therefore asked Kara not to be hostile with Sara
and welcome her.
Alex went shopping and dolled herself up to look beautiful for
Julio. She wanted to celebrate because her plans were going exceptionally well.
She bought Julio a watch to thank him for helping her with everything and she
almost told him that she loved him but managed to catch herself just in time.
After Sara was released, she and Laura went to Kara’s house.
Sara begged Kara to let her see Becca because she knew Becca was looking for
her. She even dropped down on her knees to try and convince Kara to let her
stay at her house so that she could be with Becca. She told Kara that losing
Becca would kill her because she could not bear losing another child. Laura begged
for Kara to consider Sara’s request. Kara had seen how much Becca loved Sara so
she agreed to let Sara stay under the condition that she help her get close to
Becca.
Sara rushed over to see Becca in her room and Becca was
delighted to see her. She apologized for leaving without telling her but
explained that the important thing was that the two of them were now together.
Seb asked Kara if it was fine with her having Sara in the house
but Kara said that she was only thinking of Becca’s interests and it
As Alex arrived home she ran into Sara at the door and she
almost lost it when she was that Sara was out of jail. Sara told Alex that she
was innocent and would do her best to catch the person who was trying to frame
her.
Alex went to complain to Seb after seeing that Sara was free
but Seb told her that they could not charge Sara since they did not have enough
evidence to prove that Sara was the one who stole Becca.
Edward met with the lawyer and thanked him for getting Sara
out of jail. He asked the lawyer to continue handling Sara’s case and he would
be the one to pay for his fee.
Sara found Kara making dinner and offered to help her make
it the way Becca liked it. Kara refused and told Sara that her daughter would
have to get used to the way she cooked her food. Sara said that she only wanted
to help her with Becca but Kara said it was meddling.
During dinner, Becca got all excited for the stew they were
having and thanked Sara for making it. Sara corrected her and said that it was
Kara who had cooked it so Becca thanked her instead. Alex irked everyone by
asking Becca which stew she liked best; Kara’s or Sara’s but Becca won everyone’s
applause by saying that both stews were good even though they were different.
Hannah suggested that they all go out the following say
since she did not have school and everyone agreed to go out for swimming and a
picnic the following day. Becca was delighted with the idea but her mood
instantly fell when Sara told her that she could not go with them since she had
to work.
The following day, Sara went to the club and apologized to
Madam Cynthia for dragging Banjo along and for not listening to her advice
before.
At the family outing, Kara and Laura tried to cheer Becca up
but she only sat by herself and said that she was fine. She was sad because
Sara had not joined them.
Later, Hannah and Becca were playing by the swings when a
man approached them and asked which one of them was Isabella! Seb and Kara went
to get the children and asked the man what he wanted. The man said that he was
a reporter and since he had recently learnt that they had found their lost
daughter, he wanted to know which one of them was Isabella! Seb grew hostile
and told the reporter that it was not the time or place to ask them about that
and asked him to leave.
Hannah asked Kara and Seb if it was true that they had found
Isabella. Kara said that they had and when Hannah asked where Isabella was,
Kara said that they were trying to get her back from the family who had adopted
her.
Alex was busy thinking of a way to find evidence that would incriminate
Kara and came up with the brilliant idea of pinning the phone she had used to
call and text Kara when she was sending clues before on Sara.
When Kara and the rest of the family arrive home from the
picnic, Alex used the phone to call Kara. Kara knew the number was from the
kidnapper but the moment she picked it up, the call was cut. Alex then snuck
into Sara’s room and put the phone in Sara’s luggage, then left the house.
Kara continued to call the number and the phone rang with no
answer. Sara arrived home and found everyone frantic. She asked what was
happening and was told that the kidnapper had called. Kara continued calling
the number and realized that she could hear a phone ringing in the house. They
all followed the sound of the ringtone upstairs to Sara’s room and we ended as
Kara got the phone out from Sara’s bag!
