We started with Tenten talking to Dodoy about finding
another job in order to save up more and give them a better life.
As they
family had a meal, Binggoy invited them to join in a gig that they had so
that they could have some more money.
Roberto went with Serena to Ascovia so that they could find
out some information about her family. The attendant from the refugee camp told
them the name of the person who turned Serena in but it was not his real name
because his records did not exist. He said that the person might have been part
of the rebels which is why he used a different name. It was therefore a dead
end for them since they could not locate the person.
After leaving Ascovia, Roberto told Serena that he did not
tell Luciana when he adopted her and was why she took it out on her sometimes
but he asked her to give her mother a chance.
Meanwhile, Luciana took the chance to chat with Gian Carlo
when Serena was away and told him that she could see that he liked Serena. Gian
Carlo was shy to admit it at first but he agreed and Luciana promised to help
him win Serena.
Binngoy took his family to a funeral to perform and the four
of them laughed on their way home because the gig was a little dramatic because
of all the crying from the mourners. Unfortunately, Dodoy fell ill and they had
to rush him to the hospital.
They did not have enough money to get him treated so Tenten
went out of his way to collect all the money that they needed. His friends at
work donated some money and Tenten gave Binngoy the money to go pay the
hospital bill.
On the way to the hospital, Binggoy met some friends and
they told him that he could double the money he had by gambling. Binggoy ended
up losing and there was no money to pay for Dodoy’s medical bills. The hospital
wanted to Dodoy out of the hospital since his family could not pay the deposit
so Tenten had to look for a fast way to earn money.
Luciana talked to Gian Carlo’s father about merging the De
Luca Company with the Marchesa’s and also offered to let Serena marry his son
so that their family could be one.
When Serena and Roberto returned home from Ascovia, Luciana
offered to take to watch a football game because Serena loved football to win
her favor. Serena was surprised by the gesture but the two of them had fun.
Later, Luciana coaxed Serena into attending a dinner at the
De Luca residence. Serena asked if her attendance was necessary and Luciana
insisted that she wanted to go with her.
At the dinner, Gian Carlo’s father toasted to the union of
their two families because Gian Carlo was going to marry Serena. The
announcement took both Serena and Roberto by surprise because they knew nothing
about it. Serena asked Gian Carlo if he knew and Gian Carlo said that he did,
adding that he loved her. Serena got up and rushed out of the house and Luciana
followed her. Luciana told Serena that she had to marry Gian Carlo because
their partnership would help save their company. Serena told Luciana that
although she owed everything to them for adopting her, she would not agree to
marry a person she did not love. Luciana called her ungrateful and it was her
duty to help them.
When they returned
home, Roberto talked to Serena and she told him that she would not marry Gian
Carlo. Roberto told Serena that there might be another way to save their
company because there was an investor they hoped to invest in their company.
Serena asked Roberto to let her be the one to talk to the investor and Roberto
agreed.
When Luciana started to look for Serena, Roberto told her
that Serena was in the Philippines.
When Serena arrived in the Philippines, she was able to look
around Manila and saw all the monuments that Simon had talked about in her
letters.
Tenten got a job to have a one night stand with a rich woman
and he was asked to go wait somewhere and the woman would go get him in her
car.
Serena’s driver had an emergency so he could not work and
Serena let him go saying that she could drive herself. She however got lost and
stopped by to ask someone to show her the way. She stopped right before Tenten
intending to ask him for directions and we ended as she rolled down the window
of her car.
