We started with Tenten telling his family that he had just
said good bye to Serena because she was leaving for Bohol to go visit her
nanny.
He added that she invited him to go with her but he refused. Taps asked
him why he did not agree and Tenten sad that he had to stay home and earn money
for their up keep. Taps got mad and told Tenten that she was proud of him for
always taking care of them but he had to be selfish at times and think of
himself. She got stern with Tenten and told him to go with Serena. Binggoy and
Dodoy both agreed with her.
Tenten thought about going to Bohol with Serena but he did
not have any money. In the morning, Binngoy asked Tenten why he still hadn’t
left and he said that he did not have money. Binngoy said that Serena was the
one who invited him so she would pay for his expenses but Tenten said that it
would be embarrassing and he would not let her do that. Just then, a friend of
theirs came up with a solution. He paid back the money Binggoy lost in
gambling; a total of 8000 bucks so Tenten had the money to travel.
Tenten caught Serena just before she left for Bohol. He told
her that he felt bad for turning down her invitation so he decided to go with
her after all so as not to seem like a bad friend. Serena was delighted to have
Tenten go with her and asked the guide that she had hired to leave.
When they were in the car heading to the airport, Tenten
offered to pay for his flight but Serena said that she would pay for all his
expenses because she was the one who invited him. Tenten insisted but Serena
said that she would feel offended. She then offered to pay Tenten for the time he
would be away from work but Tenten took offense since she was his friend and
she did not need to pay him. He asked her not to worry because his boss had
given him a leave and a raise so he would not have any problems with his job.
Back in Italy, Gian Carlo informed Luciana that Serena would
be visiting her Nanny Melds in her home town and Luciana did not seem happy.
She told Gian Carlo that Serena might be influenced to be free spirited and
refuse to return to them but Gian Carlo made her fell at ease and told her that
Serena knew where she belonged so she would definitely return to them in Italy.
Serena and Tenten took their flight which had Tenten Puking
and Serena had to take care of him. After they left the airport, someone picked
them up to take them to Nanny Melds’ place.
They had a ride but the engine broke down on the way. The
guide said that he knew a short cut and they could easily walk there because it
was not far. They took out all their luggage and walked the rest of the way.
Tenten had trouble going past the foot bridge to cross the
river because he was afraid of heights but Serena helped him. They crossed
another river on foot and even drunk the water because it seemed clean but they
spit it out when they saw cows grazing in the water.
On the third river crossing, the water was deep so Tenten
offered to carry Serena across. Serena was afraid that they would fall in and
Tenten eventually dropped her in the water as he slipped on a rock. Serena was
all wet after and since she was holding her phone, it fell in and broke down.
Gian Carlo tried to reach Serena later but her phone was
unreachable.
They finally got to Nanny Melds’ place and were welcomed
with a huge celebration. Nanny Melds rushed over to greet them and Serena’s
arms were wide to welcome her. Nanny Melds went past Serena and went to hug
Tenten instead. Serena was left hanging but Nanny Melds said that she was just
messing around. She looked over how big Serena had grown adding that she was
really beautiful.
Nanny Melds took Serena and Tenten to the house so that they
could change into different clothes. They gathered around to eat as Serena told
everyone the story of how she was able to reconnect with Tenten, her childhood
penpal. They were told that they had to taste the specialty of the local
community and Nanny Melds’ husband brought them a plate of worms! Serena was
skeptical about eating them so Tenten took a bite first! This encouraged Serena
to eat dig in as well and we ended as Serena and Tenten gobbled up the worms.
