We started with Tiffany and her neighbors planning on how
they were going to raise money for Mr. Sol’s surgery.
They decided to have a fundraising
in form of a concert and they also put up donation boxes around the
neighborhood so that people could donate money.
Back in the US, Clark and Leah still had to know more about
each other before their next immigration interview. Leah tried to get Clark to
open up to her about his father but he did not want to. She suggested that they
play a truth or dare game using a spinning bottle so that it would be easier
for Clark to open up to her. Clark did not want to do it at first but finally
agreed after some persuasion from Leah.
When they played the first spin, Clark won and had to ask
Leah a question. Before he could do it, Jigs called Leah and she rejected the
call. Clark therefore asked Leah why she was no longer in love with Jigs as his
question. Leah said that she and Jigs wanted different things adding that Jigs
was used to getting what he wanted and threw a tantrum when he did not get what
he wanted.
They had played the spin the bottle game at a restaurant so
they changed it to a coin toss once they were outside. Clark won the toss and
asked Leah about her mother. Leah told him that her mother left for America to
give them a better life but she ended up dying there.
After Leah told Clark about her mother, she proceeded to ask
him about his father but he insisted on playing the coin toss. Leah won the
toss and asked Clark to tell her about his father but Clark said that he would
choose a dare instead of the truth. Leah threatened to make Clark hold a
cockroach so he eventually chose truth. Leah finally had her chance to have her
question answered. Clark told her that his father was a jerk and he hated him.
When Leah asked what Clark’s father did to make him despise
him, Clark said that she was only allowed one question. Leah won the coin toss
again but Clark walked away instead of telling her about his father.
Leah went home to clean up and prepared food for Clark.
Clark walked into a clean apartment but almost refused to eat the food that
Leah prepared because she might charge him. Leah said she wouldn’t and they sat
down to eat. Clark was enjoying the meal after complementing Leah’s cooking
skills but he stopped eating when Leah mentioned his father. She told Clark
that she would not pressure him into talking about it since it seemed like a
difficult subject but if he ever wanted to, she would be there to listen to him
as a friend. Clark got up and went to bed since he had to wake up early.
After Jigs failed to contact Leah, he became furious and
called Aunt Jack to ask about her. Aunt Jack told him that maybe Leah was busy
at work and if she was with Clark, there was no problem because the two were
prepping for their Immigration interview. Jigs was rude to her and Grandma
Pacita asked him to be more respectful to his mother because she was out in
America working hard to take care of him.
Mr. Sol found out that Tiffany had set up boxes for people
to donate money for his operation. He was furious and told Tiffany that he did
not want to beg but Tiffany asked him whether he was willing to die because of
shame. Their neighbors set Mr.Sol’s mind at ease when they told him that he had
always been generous to them so they only wanted to pay him back.
Clark had a dream about confessing his love for Leah and was
about to kiss her when the alarm rang and he got up flustered. He went out for
drinks with Leah and dared her to get a guy to flirt with her. Leah had a hard
time getting someone to notice her but she met a gay guy who was all over her.
Leah played along to show off her charm and Clark had to remind her from the
other side of the room that she was married. When Leah got back to the table,
she told Clark that she was not going to date anyone because they were married
and it would be risky if she got caught.
Clark finally told Leah about his father; that he had gone
to America with his mother to meet him but he had rejected him because he had
another family. Clark and his mother decided to stay in America but his mother
got sick with Pneumonia and died. Aunt Jack could not take him in because she
was an illegal immigrant so Clark had to be taken to foster care. The family
that adopted him made him slave around the house so Clark ran away and went to
find Aunt Jack who took him in. He said that he owed Aunt Jack a lot for taking
care of him but he would make sure that his father would one day regret giving
up on him.
We ended with Clark and Leah in bed and Leah thanked Clark
for finally trusting him and telling him the truth…
