DOBLE KARA Season 3 Episode 23 & 24

Episode 23

We started with Barbara arriving home. She called out to her servants but no one answered back.
She went upstairs and found two men who wore face masks rummaging around her room. When they saw her, they shoved her to the side and ran out of the house.
Later, the men briefed Julio and Alex and said that Barbara had nothing in her house that she could use against them. Julio asked if they were sure and that no one recognized them. They said that they were sure and Julio dismissed them. Alex asked Julio not to worry and that no one would get around to finding them. She asked him to trust her but Julio said that he never trusted anyone. Alex asked him what made him become that way and insisted on him to tell her the truth. Julio finally told Alex about his ex-girlfriend who got his parents killed. They were supposed to leave behind their life of crime and run away together but the girl bombed Julio’s car. He was not in the car but his parents died from the explosion. Julio got Patricia and escaped with her but some time later, he returned after forming his own gang and he confronted his girlfriend. He asked why she had her parents killed and she said that their boss found out about their plans and threatened to kill her if she did not do it. Julio still loved her but he still killed her for what she did to his parents.
After Julio was done with the story, Alex empathized with him and said that she would never do something like that to him. Julio seemed skeptical about trusting her but he wanted to. He also asked her never to tell Patricia what really happened since she did not know anything.
Seb met with a priest who offered him a job to go to Cambodia for missionary work. He said that Seb could bring his family along and it would be a good solution for him to get his family away from the chaos that was happening. He added that Cambodia was in close to the Philippines so they would not have any trouble getting back home if they needed to and Kara agreed with him.
When Seb got home, he told Kara about the offer to go to Cambodia. He reasoned that it would be good to leave until their papers for the US were finalized since it would take a few more months and Kara agreed with him. During dinner, they announced their decision to everyone and offered Laura the chance to go with them. Laura said that she would not leave Sara and if they wanted to go, they were free to do so since they knew what was best for their family.
When Kara talked to Becca about leaving, Becca said that she did not want to go because she would miss her Momma and there would be no one left to take care of her. Kara managed to convince Becca that it would be good for them to leave and Becca said that she would agree to go under one condition. She asked Kara if she could visit Sara one last time to say good bye to her. Kara told Seb about Becca’s request and said that she was worried that Becca might change her mind after seeing Sara. Seb told Kara that she too was getting closer to Becca and they needed to trust her.
Banjo bought a car after seeing Sara in prison. Cynthia asked him what it was for since he had once said that a car was a hustle. Banjo said that he simply wanted one because it was easier to move around.
Sara and her friends continued to plan their escape in prison without anyone knowing. Laura visited her and noticed that something was off about her so she was not able to tell her that Kara was leaving for Cambodia.
On the day that Sara planned on escaping, Edward visited him but she refused to talk to him (Edward has the worst timing) and asked him to leave. The plan went perfectly; Rona distracted the guards so that Kengkay could steal the keys. Nancy went to the electric room and turned off the power so that they would not be detected on the CCTV while Sara and grandma started a fire in the kitchen to distract the rest of the guards. There was an event at the prison so it took some time for the prison guards to realize what had happened and by the time they did the body count, Sara and her friends had already left the prison. Banjo was waiting for them outside and he took them to a secluded place. He also had some clothes and food packed which he left behind and gave Sara some money in case anything came up.
Kara went to talk to Laura and asked her to accompany her to jail the next say so that they could visit Sara and Laura who was glad to hear this was delighted. The phone rang and when Laura answered it, it was the police informing her that Sara had escaped from prison!
Everyone was surprised by the news and especially Kara was upset because she thought Sara wanted to take Becca away. She swore to protect Becca and keep Sara from taking Becca. Laura was worried  and frustrated because Sara had just made things harder for them.

Episode 24

The police visited Cynthia and Banjo at the club and asked them if they had any idea where Sara was. They told them that they might be charged if they helped Sara escape and Cynthia told them that they did not know anything. Banjo said the same as well.
Sara was worried about Laura because she would worry about her so she called Banjo and asked him to let Laura know that she was fine. Banjo told her that it was too dangerous for now and asked Sara to stay put. He also asked her not to call her since it was dangerous and if she needed something, it was better to text him. Cynthia found him on the phone and asked who it was. Banjo said that it was a friend who needed his help. Cynthia was still suspicious and asked him if he knew where Sara was. Banjo said that he did not know anything and walked away.
The person assigned to look for Sara her colleagues decided that she was the master mind behind the escape plane because she was the last one to enter the prison and he decided to focus on her. He visited Kara and the family to ask them if they knew anything about why Sara had escaped. Laura said that they could not think of anything but Kara told them that the most likely reason was that Sara was after their daughter since she had just learnt that they were about to leave the country.
At the hide out, Sara and the rest watched the news on TV where they announced their escape from prison. Sara said that they could not go anywhere since everyone was looking for them but Kengkay said that she had escaped to go see her mother and she had to do it. She asked Sara to help her and Sara called Banjo to bring over some disguises that they could use. When Banjo brought the stuff over, he also offered to help Sara investigate Alex and planned to pick her up the following day.
Alex and Julio also watched the news and learnt about Sara’s escape. Alex instantly became nervous because she thought that Sara would be after her for revenge. Julio asked her not to worry because he would be the one to protect her.
Banjo picked Sara up as agreed but they were not able to confront Alex because she disappeared. Banjo told Sara that they should leave because it was dangerous for them to be lurking around but Sara said that they had to go somewhere else first. They went to Becca’s school and watched her from the car. Becca saw them and recognized Sara even though she wore a disguise. She was staring and the policemen under surveillance at the school noticed it. He rushed outside the school to see if he could see who it was. Sara hid while Banjo pretended to be talking to a child so the man was not able to find them. When Seb went to get Becca, she told him that she might have seen Sara and Seb took her away to her class.
At work, Kara was talking to Camille Rose about Sara when a couple arrived to inquire about their party organizing services. The lady said that Kara seemed familiar and recognized her as one of the escaped convicts. Kara told her that it was her twin sister and the lady said that they would no longer need her services. They left and tipped the police that Sara was in the shop and when the police came to search for her, Kara explained that she had been mistaken for Sara.
Edward asked the lawyer he had hired about Sara’s case and he said that Sara had made things worse for herself by running away from prison. He said that he would still file for an appeal on Sara’s case but it would be difficult to proceed with her missing so he asked Edward to talk to her if he had the chance. The police also went to see Edward since he was the last person to have visited Sara in jail before her escape. He told them that he did not know anything and he was threatened that if he was hiding her, he too would be convicted because it was a crime.
Edward went to see Banjo at Club Felicidad and asked him about Sara. Banjo denied knowing where he was and was a bit hostile but Edward said that he did not want to fight with him. He said that Sara needed all the help she could get but Banjo still did not tell him anything.
Alex was not able to relax because of Sara’s escape so she visited Hannah at home and asked her to tell her if the family ever found out where Sara was.
Becca asked Kara if she would return Sara to jail once they found her and Kara said that it was not her decision to make. She however tried to explain that she loved Sara but she also had to make up for the mistakes that she had done.
Seb met with his lawyer and got the passports for Kara and the kids. He went home to tell Kara and Laura that their passports were ready so they could leave but Laura got mad that they were planning on leaving when Sara was still missing. She once again turned down their offer to leave with them and left to see Barbara.
Laura was desperate to find Sara so she asked Barbara for her help.
Banjo and Sara took Kengkay to her place since she got lost the first time and she was able to see her mother. She went back with Sara and when everyone asked why she had not stayed to take care of her mother, she said that she did not want to add on to her mother’s problems.
We ended as Kara said that she would protect her family against all cost even if it meant leaving to keep Sara away from Becca.
