We started with Serena stopping Tenten in the restaurant and
she asked him for the newspaper he had used to cover his face with. Tenten
looked away as he gave her the newspaper then ran out of the restaurant.
Gian
Carlo however recognized him and ran after him. Tenten managed to hide so Gian
carlo did not find him. Gian Carlo returned to the restaurant and Serena asked
him why he seemed so bothered by the Tenten guy. She asked if she knew him and
Gian Carlo told her that she did not know him.
After they left the restaurant, Gian Carlo seemed bothered
still so Serena insisted that Gian Carlo tell her what was bothering him. Gian
Carlo walked her on top of a bridge and told Serena that something had been
bothering him for weeks. He dropped down on one knee and told Serena that he
had been late because he had gone by to pick out the ring. He then asked her to
marry him and Serena said yes.
When Tenten went back to his hotel room, he found the person
who was supposed to take him to Paris and they left. As he was leaving, he was unlucky
enough to watch the lovely proposal as he passed by the bridge. He smiled to
himself and then went on his way.
After Tenten returned from Paris, his inspiration was back
and he wrote a wonderful new song for Angel to sing.
Serena and Gian carlo celebrated their engagement in Italy
and every one congratulated them on their proposal.
Something drastic happened
when Alice went to the Marchesa residence. She told Serena and Luciana that she
was Serena’s real mother and she had lost her when they were fleeing Ascovia
and Roberto Marchesa adopted her. Luciana did not let Alice say anything more
and threw her out of the house.
Tenten seemed happier after his trip from Paris so Angel asked
him why he seemed so. Tenten told her that he now had closure, adding that it
felt good to know that the person he loved was happy and satisfied with her
life. Angel then took the chance and confessed her love for Tenten through a
song in front of his friends and family. Unfortunately, Tenten turned her down
and told her that he could not love anyone else because his heart was
defective. Angel told him that anything broken can be fixed and assured him
that she would wait for him.
Serena asked Luciana if the woman who had gone to see her
was telling the truth but Luciana said that she was a Marchesa. Serena took a
chance and went to see Alice without Luciana knowing to learn what Alice had to
say. She told Alice that her mother
thought she was a fraud and Alice told her that they could get a DNA test. She added that she could just
look her in the eye to know if she was telling the truth. Serena remembered
Tenten’s words when he told her that you only had to look into someone’s eyes
to know if they were telling the truth. Alice told her that she only wanted to
see her and was not there to upset her life. She was happy that Serena had a
good life and as a mother, she was satisfied. She then asked to hug Serena and
Serena agreed. Alice gave Serena a medal her father had pinned on her and
Serena found that it matched the one she had. With the proof, Luciana had to
admit to Serena that she was adopted.
Luciana told Serena that she knew she was adopted before she
lost her memory and it was the reason she had fought to find her roots and went
to the Philippines. This was why she had not told Serena the truth. She added
that with Roberto sick, she did not want to lose her too.
After Tenten told his parents that he had turned Angel down,
they told him that maybe it was time for him to open his heart again.
Serena was confused after the revelation and went to see
Roberto at the hospital. She implored him to wake up so that he could advise
her on what was happening because she had a feeling that he would never lie to
her. She said that she felt as if Alice was the missing puzzle in her life so
that she could find out who she was but she was afraid of what she would
find. We ended with Roberto’s hand
twitching as Serena was talking to him...
