We started with Tiffany and the people at the tenement making
arrangements for the concert they planned to hold to raise money for Mr.Sol’s
operation. He was there too and he thanked his neighbors for the hard work they
were doing for him.
Leah went to church
to pray for their immigration interview so that it would go well. Clark went to
the church as well and saw Leah there but he did not speak to her.
Clark and Leah’s immigration interview went well and Aunt Jack
was in attendance since she had gone to visit them. The two were extra
affectionate with each other as they told the officer about how they met. Aunt
Jack also helped by motioning to Clark to put his arm around Leah. The officer asked
them who was the first to say “I love You” and Clark took Leah’s hand and said
that he was the one who said it first. As Aunt Jack watched them, she was happy
that the two of them were able to go through the interview without messing it
up like the last time. When the officer left, Leah was overjoyed and launched
herself on Clark for a hug. Clark and Aunt Jack were really surprised by it but
Leah caught herself in time and pulled back.
Leah bought a tablet from her coworker so that she could be
able to chat with her family without using Clark’s laptop.
Later, Clark brought food home with him and asked Leah to
join him. He added that it was his treat and she did not have to pay for her
share. Leah apologized to Clark for not cooking so that they could save on
money for food. Clark told her that she did not have to worry about it since he
did not want to get used to her cooking for him and they would be divorced
soon.
In the morning, Clark was sleeping when Leah’s phone rang.
It was Jigs and Clark picked up the video call since Leah was not around. Jigs was really angry and asked Clark where Leah
was. Clark said that he did not know but then Leah appeared behind him as she
left the bathroom. Jigs thought that Clark had lied to him and started complaining
to him. Clark gave the phone to Leah and left her. Jigs asked her what she had
been doing with Clark which offended Leah. She told him that they would talk
later after Jigs calmed down.
As they had breakfast, Leah apologized to Clark and told him
that she was sorry about Jigs’ behavior since he acted like a jealous boyfriend
even though they had broken up. Clark asked her to sort out her issues with Jigs
because he did not want to be in the middle of it.
When Jigs called Leah later, she told him that the two of
them had already broken up but she offered him her friendship. She told Clark
about what she had told Jigs and since she looked sad, Clark asked her if she
regretted it. Leah told him that she did not but she was only sad because she
did not like hurting other people. Clark told her that it was the way with
love; someone always got hurt. Leah asked him if that was the reason why he did
not want to fall in love and Clark told her that it was because he had not yet found
the person he would love.
At work, Cullen noticed that Clark looked a little happy and
commented that marriage life suited him. He asked if Clark was falling for Leah
and Clark denied it saying that Leah was his cousin’s ex. He however admitted
that he liked being married to her because he had someone to talk to at home.
Aunt Jack visited Leah at work to show her some pictures
that Jigs had posted about her on social media. Leah told Aunt Jack that they
already broke up and she had no intention of getting back together with him.
Aunt Jack felt sad that Leah would not get back together with Jigs but she
should not fall in love with Clark.
Leah had a video call with Tiffany and Tiffany asked Leah introduce
her to Clark. Clark was glad to meet her and also wanted to meet Mr. Sol but
Leah told him that it was not possible since she had not told her father that
she was already married. Clark asked her if she intended on hiding him forever
but Tiffany said that they would not be married forever. Leah reminded Clark
that they would only be together until she got her green card and Clark walked
away looking a little disappointed.
Jigs called Aunt Jack to complain to her that Leah had
broken up with him and blamed Jack for introducing her to Clark. Aunt Jack
assured him that the two of them were only doing it for the green card but Jigs
told her that she was not with them all the time and did not know what they did
when they were alone.
Aunt Jack went to Clark’s house in the middle of the night
and banged at the door. She woke Leah and Clark up and since they thought that
it was an impromptu visit from the immigration officer, they decided to make it
look like they were making love. The messed each other’s hair and Leah put on
some lipstick then pasted her lips on
Clark’s body. When they opened the door, they were amazed to find Aunt Jack’s
surprised face looking back at them. They tried to explain to her that they
were only pretending and Aunt Jack told them never to forget that their
marriage was only a business arrangement. Clark and Leah asked Jack what she
was doing there and she told them that she had gone to remind them about an
event that they had been invited to.
Aunt Jack talked to Leah before she left and asked her not
to fall for Clark. She told her that she could fall in love with any other
person but not Clark. Leah asked her why she did not want her falling for Clark
and Aunt Jack explained to her that Jigs felt as if Clark had taken away
everything from him since Clark had been able to go to America and grow up with
her while Jigs had been left alone in the Philippines. She added it would not
be right if Clark and Leah started dating because she did not want them to
fight because of her.
Meanwhile, Cullen noticed that Clark looked extra happy
after his marriage and Clark said that it was because he had someone to talk to
instead of staying all alone in his house.
Jigs went to drink after her talk with Leah and ended up
getting into a motor cycle accident. He called Aunt Jack to tell her about it
and she was very worried about him. She asked her mother to take care of him
then went to see Clark and Leah to tell them about it. She told them that she
would fly out to the Philippines to see Jigs since she was really worried about
him.
After Aunt Jack left, Leah looked bothered by Jigs’ accident
and she told Clark that she felt guilty because Jigs had gone out drinking
after she broke up with him. We ended with Clark convincing Leah that it was
not her fault.
