We started with Aunt Jack leaving for the Philippines after Jigs’
accident. She asked Clark and Leah not to forget about the anniversary party of
her friends because they would be expecting them.
Back in the Philippines, Tiffany and her neighbors continued
to raise money for Mr. Sol’s heart surgery by a fund raiser and organizing a
concert. Tiffany also took up work as a waitress at a food kiosk.
Clark and Leah went to the anniversary party and since they
arrived early, they helped with the preparations for the party. Clark helped the groom with the barbeque as
the man told him how he had fallen in love with his wife. Leah helped in the
kitchen and since she was a good cook, the women told her to cook for her
husband often because men loved being pampered. The bride later told Leah about
how she had married her husband because of an arranged marriage and after
staying with him for 25 years, they were going to get married for the right
reasons.
The couple was going to renew their vows for their 25th
anniversary. Leah had tears in her eyes as she watched them exchange their vows
and Clark held her hand. He explained to her that someone was watching them
which was why he held her hand. Leah continued to cry as she watched the couple
and she imagined herself saying the same words to Clark. Clark took out his handkerchief and wiped away
Leah’s tears.
During dinner, the couple talked about how they had fallen
in love but they asked the guests not to focus so much of them and instead ask
the newlyweds i.e. Clark and Leah how things were going with them. Someone
asked Leah what she liked about Clark and Leah said that he appeared arrogant
on the outside but deep down he cared about her and took care of her and his
sibling. Clark was asked the same question and answered that although Leah was
annoying, she made him laugh; being with Leah was not a bad thing at all. They
were staring into each other’s eyes so they were asked to kiss. Clark leaned in
and kissed Leah amid applause from everyone else.
After the kiss, Leah left the dining table and rushed out to
catch a breath of fresh air. She saw a dog and went to scream at it saying that
she did not feel anything when Clark kissed her. Clark went to see how Leah was
doing and found her screaming at the dog. He asked her what she was doing and
she told him that she was only telling the dog that she did not have any food
to give it. Clark talked to Leah about the kiss and he told her that he had only
done it for the show. Leah said that it was good; clarifying that she meant
Clark’s acting and not the kiss. She then started staring at his lips so she
ran off and returned to the dining table saying that she was feeling thirsty.
Aunt Jack arrived in the Philippines worried sick about Jigs
only to find out that Jigs had exaggerated the seriousness of his accident so
that he could get Leah’s sympathy. Aunt Jack was upset that she had quit her
job to go see him only for nothing. Jigs was also upset with Aunt Jack for
leaving Clark alone with Leah since they were now alone and did not have a
chaperone.
Since Aunt Jack had taken a month’s leave, she decided to
stay in the Philippines and try to bond with her son. Jigs proved to be hard to
please as he told Aunt Jack that the only woman who was with him during his
birthdays and graduation was in the USA and he only needed her.
Tiffany was worried about not being able to sell enough tickets for Mr. Sol's fundraiser concert. She and her neighbors came up with an idea to invite an influential celebrity to make people buy the tickets. They decided to invite Anne Curtis and Tiffany set out to invite her.
Back at the party, Leah got really drunk and Clark decided
to take her home before she gave away their cover. When they were out in the
street, Clark tried to get Leah to hold on to a post but she kept falling down
so he held her up. Leah said she was not drunk but was only tipsy. She started
mumbling that Clark was already in love with her and had actually felt
something when they kissed. Clark told her that it was only for show but Leah
dared him to kiss her again to see if he still felt nothing. She grabbed him
and was about to kiss him when she puked all over him. Clark carried her and
took her home. He put her to sleep and cleaned her up.
In the morning, Leah had a dream about Clark making her breakfast
and said “Yes Clark” in her sleep. Clark woke Leah up and asked her what she
was dreaming about. Leah said it was nothing and complained about her hangover.
We ended with Clark telling Leah to take a shower in order to get rid of her
hangover...
