We started with Angelo shoving Ligaya’s face aside and
telling her that he would never kiss her.
The authorities at the market took them
away because they were causing trouble in the market. They kept arguing in his
office and he told them to go home for the rest of the day so that they could
stop making trouble.
Liya tried to fit in with some rich kids from school and the
leader told her that if she wanted to be in their group, she had to show that
she deserved it. To do this, they told Liya to walk around naked during a
presentation that they would be having at school the following day.
Angelo got back from the market with the Limes and set out
to make Lloyd his cake. Lloyd went later to taste it and absolutely loved it.
Angelo assured him that with the cake, the person he was courting would
instantly become his girlfriend.
When Liya went home, she asked Monay to help her with a robe
and said that it was for a play that she was in and they needed props. Angelo
said that he was glad Liya was joining school plays again and he asked her to
invite him when they perform.
Lloyd took the cake to the girl that he liked and it turned
out to be Ligaya! He had liked Ligayaever since they were classmates and only
gained the courage to tell her. Lloyd stammered heavily as he told her that he
had found the best lime cake for her and as per their deal, she had to let him
court her. Ichu was excited and opened the cake up so that Ligaya could have a
taste. The cake was really good and Ligaya could not stop eating it. She
therefore accepted to let Lloyd court her because she could no longer go back
on her word.
Llyod got back to Angelo’s bakery to share the wonderful
news that the girl agreed to let him court her. Angelo was happy with the news
and urged Lloyd to make his father read the proposal he had given so that they
could make more lime cakes.
At school, Liya took off her school uniform and put on Monay’s
robe.She was ready to walk around naked in the auditorium after everyone had settled
for a career talk that the school had arranged for them. Liya was about to walk
out but the MC called out Yna Macaspac as their speaker. Liya saw Yna walk up
to the stand and she turned back. The girls that had told Liya to walk naked
were upset that she did not go through with it.
Liya had become a head chef after graduating with honors at
the California culinary arts school. She talked to the students about her
passion for cooking and advised them to follow their passion in the jobs that
they choose.
After the session, Yna rushed off to work where she was a
lead chef. The owner of the restaurant was happy with her work and asked Yna
not to start her own restaurant yet because her restaurant was doing good ever
since Yna joined them. Yna asked her not to worry because she still had a few
more months left with her.
When Liya got back from school, she returned Monay’s robe.
She seemed disturbed and after Angelo asked her why, she said that she was just
tired from the ride going home.
Yna went home where she lived with her family. Belen ran a
laundry shop on a section of their house
and Yna helped her for a while before she went upstairs to sleep. She sent
David a message online but he did not answer her. She had been sending him
messages for days without a reply and she started to wonder why he was not
replying back.
Ichu had given Lloyd Ligaya’s phone number and he texted her
to tell her that she was the joy in his life. Ligaya was not happy about it and
she told Ichu that she would reject his courtship. Ichu said that Lloyd could
help them have an easier life because he was rich but Ligaya said that she
intended on getting by without a man’s help.
Angelo planned another prank on Ligaya. When Ligaya went to
work the following morning, she saw Angelo and realized that he must have done
something. She went to open her stall but a bucket full of water and feathers
fell on her. Angelo was nearby filming it and ran off when Ligaya started
screaming.
Eduardo’s lawyer visited him in prison and she told him that
he would be released soon because of a presidential pardon. She told Eduardo
that he had earned it because of the programs he had been running in prison. That
was where we ended…
