We started with Angelo leaving Andrew Garcia’s club. He went
to the parking lot to get his bike and leave but the guy he had defended
stopped him and gave him his wallet because he had dropped it.
He had a severe
stammer and introduced himself as Lloyd, Andrew’s half-brother. Angelo was
delighted to hear this and when Lloyd asked how he could repay Angelo for helping
him, Angelo said that he wanted a favor instead. He asked Lloyd to take his
business proposal to his Dad because he was never able to get to the company
building.
Angelo lived with an old man called Greggy; the one who
helped Angelo when he collapsed on the street two years ago. Greggy lost his
wife and was happy to take Angelo and Liya in. They lived with him and Angelo
worked at his bakery shop. Greggy also had a son whowas married to a clingy
woman called Monay and the couple had a young son.
Liya still struggled with the hard life that they now lived
and could not help but look back at the kind of life that they used to have
before. She told her friend that they had a lot of cars, designer bags and a
lot of money but it all went away.
There was a riot at the prison where Eduardo was kept and
one of the inmates went to wake him up. When Eduardo went to stop them, they
ended up pointing him out as the person who started the riot! It was however a
prank because it was Eduardo’s birthday.
We met sisters Ligaya and Ichu. Angelo played a prank on
Ligaya to pay her back for the ones she played on him. They played pranks on
reach other back and forth.
Liya did not want to visit Eduardo in prison for his
birthday no matter how much Angelo convinced her. She said that she had tried
to talk to their father to stay with their mother and leave Amor but he had
refused to listen to her. Liya refused to visit her father in prison and Greggy
told him to give Liya some time.
Angelo went on his own to visit Eduardo in prison and met
his fellow inmates. Eduardo gave a present to Angelo and asked him to give it
to Liya because he missed her. Angelo then received a call from Lloyd who had
gone to see him at the bakery shop and had to leave.
On the way, Angelo stopped at a red light and the car next
to him was Yna’s! When Angelo turned to look at the car, Yna turned the other
way to look at her phone and Angelo did not see her face.
When Angelo met Lloyd at the bakery shop, Lloyd said that he
had already given the proposal to his father’s secretary. He said that he
wanted to get a lemon cake because the woman he was courting asked him to get a
delicious lemon cake and she would become his girlfriend.
Angelo set out to look for Lemons to make the cake for Lloyd
but only Ligaya had the stock at the market. Angelo asked her to sell all the
lemons she had to him and Ligaya agreed but she overpriced them. It was her
payback for the prank that Angelo played on her and Angelo complained that she
was the one who started everything.
Since Angelo refused to pay for the overpriced limes, Ligaya
said that she would not sell them to him. Angelo however left the money that he
was willing to pay for the limes on the counter and took off with the limes.
Ligaya ran after him around the market and was able to catch up to him after
Angelo tripped on a slippery floor. She accused him of being a thief but Angelo
grabbed her face and dared to kiss her if she insisted on fighting with him.
