We started with Leah receiving a call from Tiffany telling
her that Gabby’s condition had gotten worse.
She asked Tiffany to put the phone
on Gabby’s ear and she sang “On the Wings of Love” to him until he slept. Leah
was in tears when she hang-up and Clark asked her what was wrong. Leah told him that her nephew was sick.
They finally got to the employer of Leah’s mother’s employer
and things only got worse. The woman told Leah that she had never heard from
her mother after she quit the job and did not even know that she had died. She
however said that she had found a box of her stuff when she was cleaning out
the house a few weeks back and gave them to Leah. Clark was there to support
her and help Leah go through it since she was really sad and disappointed. The
box contained a few letters, pictures of Leah’s mother. The two of them finally
got back to San Francisco and resumed with their lives.
Back in the Philippines, Tolayts rallied up a lot of people
from the tenement house and took them to help donate blood for Gabby. He
donated blood as well even if he was scared to death of needles. Tiffany was
really pleased with him because Gabby had finally gotten a blood transfusion
and was getting better so she gave him a peck on the cheek. Tolayts got excited
and decided to post pictures of him and Tiffany online. He ended up posting the
ones from Mr. Sol’s fundraising concert and Leah saw them while she was at
work.
Leah called Tiffany immediately and asked her why they were
donating money for her father. Tiffany had to tell Leah about Mr. Sol’s heart
condition and Tolayts ended up losing little progress that he had made with
Tiffany. When Clark got home, he found Leah in tears and she ran into his arms
for comfort.
Jigs went to Rico’s birthday and Jack stalked his social
media to find out where he was. She told her mother that she only wanted to
find out what kind of friends Jigs hang out with and went out to the club as
well. Jigs’ friends spotted her and invited her to join them. Jack made the
best of it by drinking and having fun with Jigs and his friends and they ended
up loving her. Jigs was uncomfortable at
first but he enjoyed spending time with his mother. He had to take her home on his
motorbike since she was drunk. Jack was happy with the evening she had spent
with Jigs and she told her mother how much fun the two of them had the next
day.
Clark picked Leah up from work and took her out saying that
she needed to keep her mind off things. He took her out to dinner and then
later for a walk.
When the two of them got home, they were about to sleep when
Immigrant officers knocked on their door. They went through a practice run
before they opened the door by confessing their love sincerely for each other.
When they opened the door, they went through the inspection easily and answered
all questions with no hesitation. One of the officers asked Clark if he loved
his wife and Clark gave a really long speech about how Leah had changed him. He
said that before, he was all about work and responsibilities but now he was
able to have fun and enjoy himself since Leah made him happy and he loved her
more that she’ll ever know. The officers left after Clark’s lengthy.
The next morning, Leah and Clark had a video call with Jack
to tell her how the interview had gone. She told them not to fuss about it and
just wait until they got the results of their interview. Jack then noticed that
Clark looked like he had gained wait and Clark joked that it was because Leah
kept making Adobo for him. Jigs walked in the house in the middle of the joke
and saw Clark and Leah staring into each other’s eyes. He did not say hello
since Clark and Leah saw him but immediately walked past Jack with an angry
look. Jack hand up and went to speak to Jigs. Jigs asked Jack if she saw the
way Clark and Leah were looking at each other and Jack told him that he was the
one seeing things that were not there. She also advised Jigs to give Leah some space
so that she could miss him for a while. Jigs however decided that he was not
going to stop pursuing Leah.
Leah wanted to call the immigration to ask for her green
card but Clark asked her not to do it. She asked him how he got his green card
and he said that he applied for a juvenile citizenship after his mother died
since he was considered an immigrant.
Leah was still confused about the issue with her mother’s
missing grave and was almost convinced that her mother was still alive. She
shared a picture of her mother on line along with a sweet message asking anyone
who had any information about her to contact her.
Clark told her that he would be there for her through
everything and would help her if she ever needed it. That’s where we ended...
