We started with Clark and jigs being introduced to their
cousin Harry who had arrived from abroad.
Harry was the son of Clark’s uncle
who lived with his mother and had gone there to visit. His father was not
comfortable having Harry around because he did not have any money to look after
him and he said this out loud. Grandma Pacita asked him to keep quiet and stop
embarrassing himself.
Aunt Jack was
delighted to see Harry since she had only seen him when he was a young boy. She
introduced Harry to Jigs to him but Jigs did not even spare him a glance. Aunt
Jack apologized to Harry and asked him not to mind Jigs who was actually a nice
person. Clark was left to entertain young Harry at his shop. Harry complained
about being bored and Clark asked him to help him finish up a piece he had been working
on. They talked about love and Harry called Clark corny for his romantic
notions as he talked about Leah but Clark told Harry that he would understand
once he fell in love.
Aunt Jack tried to talk to Jigs and convince him that they
should go back to America since there was nothing else he could do in America.
She tried to coax Jigs by asking him if he missed Maggie.
At work, Leah was still on edge about her new boss. She told
her team about it and they asked her what the boss had told her. Leah said that
Simon had said that she do whatever he said. They suggested that they play a
game of “Simon says” and Leah obliged. She played the role of Simon as she told
her colleagues what to do and they followed. She asked them to stand up, to
kneel among other things but half way through the game, they all sat down and
did not do what Leah said. Leah asked them why they were not following her and
she was alarmed when she heard Simon behind her. Simon said that he did not
like to be referred to as Sir so he wanted them to call him Simon. He finished
off the game by telling them that “Simon Says that you should get back to
work”.
Clark went to see Leah to show her the piece he had made for
her grandparents. Leah assured him that they would like it because Clark had made
it himself. Leah told Clark that they could not stay as long as they had
intended to because she had to return to work after starting off on the wrong
foot with her boss. Clark asked her not to think about work because they were
going to enjoy themselves
When the weekend came, Clark got ready to go pick up Leah
since they were going to visit her grandparents. As he was about to leave, Kiko
and Axle watched him hoping that Clark would ask them to join him. They said
that they worked hard and they too needed a decision. Clark reluctantly asked
them to join him thinking that they would not be able to because they were not
packed. They surprised him instead by getting their previously packed bags and
he had to go with them. They went and picked up Leah from her house then left.
Harry’s father realized that he was missing and he could not
find out. Harry had actually hid in Clark’s car and he did not realize it until
he was long gone. They had stopped somewhere when Harry went to look for Clark
and asked him why they had stopped driving. Clark was upset to find that Harry
had gone with them too. He planned on driving him back but Leah told him that
they were far from Manila and it would do no harm if Harry went with them too.
Clark agreed but laid some ground rules for him if he intended on going with
them.
Tiffany and Mr. Sol were left behind and Tiffany told her
father that she was glad Leah was able to find someone who loved her, had courted
her accordingly and had asked for their father’s hand in marriage unlike her
who had just gotten pregnant. She apologized to her father who had not
witnessed seeing someone courting her but Mr. Sol told her it was not true
because he was already tired of Tolayts courting her.
Tiffany was looking for tolayts later but she was told by
the neighbors that Tolayts was already at school. Tolayts had returned to
school to become a mechanic and they all teased Tiffany because Tolayts had
done it to level up with Adrian so that he could compete on a better level with
him.
Simon went to set up his office during the weekend and found
some of his employees there. He did not see Leah and he commented that he
already knew who among his team was hard working. He called his secretary and
asked her to set up Leah’s presentation for the coming Monday.
We ended as Leah asked Clark to stop again so that they
could see some of the beaches on the way to her grandmother’s place.
