ON THE WINGS OF LOVE Episode 47

We started with Mr. Sol cornering Tolayts and asking him whether Leah gave the pigeon that her mother gave her to him.
Tolayts told Mr. Sol that she probably did not have any time to take care of the bird which was why she had given it to him. Tolayts was in a hurry to leave but Mr. Sol asked him what he and Tiffany had been talking about because he had seen them talking and it had seemed serious. Tolayts fumbled around for something to tell Mr. Sol and ended up telling him that they were talking about their relationship, than ran off.
Leah and Clark went to see Leah’s grandparents from her mother’s side. When she went to hug her grandmother, she said that it felt as if she had hugged Rona. There was a break of tone in her voice and Leah pulled away from the hug to ask her grandmother if she already knew the truth. Leah’s grandmother told her that they had learnt about it recently because Rona had called them. She asked Leah to forgive her mother for what she had made them go through and hoped that one day; Rona would make it up to them.
As Clark and Leah left, Clark told Leah that she should listen to her mother’s side of her story so that she could understand better why she had done what she did. Leah said that there was nothing that could justify her mother leaving them for another man. Clark told her that he did not intend to upset her since they had gone to enjoy themselves.
Harry tried to use his “Clark gaze” on Audrey but she ended up asking him if there was something wrong with his eyes. Harry told Clark later that his gaze did not work on Audrey and now she thought he was weird. Clark told Harry that it was because he was not sincere about it.
Audrey and Leah had a chat and she said that she went to school in Manila. Leah told her that if she wanted to, she could live at their house although it was quite small. Audrey gladly accepted Leah’s offer. They then toured around the town and went to see the sand dunes as well as the beaches.
Simon called his parents to check on them and his mother asked him not to work so hard. Simon said that he had been going out too but his mother complained about this too since Simon did not go out with decent girls. She asked Simon to look for decent ladies that he can introduce to her.
After enjoying their time with Leah’s grandparents, it was time for Clark, Leah and company to leave. Leah’s grandmother gave them a present that she said would be helpful for them to have their own children and Leah was embarrassed because of it. Clark gladly took it and told her that it would be helpful to them once the time for them came to have children.
Rona got a call from the insurance company telling her that her husband had left her some money. Rona was happy with the news and she planned to return to the Philippines although her son did not want to.
Jigs was still moving about asking when Leah would return home from her trip.  He went home late and found Aunt Jack waiting for him because she was worried. Aunt Jack had told Grandma Pacita that she was worried Jigs might reveal a secret that she knew about Leah’s family to spite her because she had rejected him. Jigs was rude to her when he arrived home and also stole her phone.
In the morning, Miss Jack could not find her phone so she left without it.
Clark took Leah and Audrey home to the tenement while he left with Kiko, Axle and Harry to his grandparents’ house.
The following evening, Tolayts went to pick Leah up from work but Jigs arrived and stopped him. He had texted Leah using his mother’s phone and the message said that Miss Jack wanted to see her. Jigs said that he would be the one to take Leah to see his mother.
Tolayts left and went to see Clark at the furniture shop to tell him that Jigs had left with Leah. Clark tried to call Leah but he was not able to reach her.
Jigs took Leah to the spot where they first met; it was during Jigs’ birthday and he had almost ran Leah over on his bike but he avoided it and ended up getting into the accident instead. Jigs told Leah that he had taken her there so that she could remember their love and chose him but Leah told him that she loved Clark. She said that they needed to leave because Aunt Jack was waiting for her and Jigs told her that he was the one who had texted her because he had his mother’s phone. Leah was about to leave after hearing this but Jigs threatened to tell Mr. Sol that his wife was alive if she did not chose him. Leah told him that it would not be the same if she chose him because he had just made her despise him with her threat. Jigs got upset, got on his bike and rode away.
Leah finally answered Clark’s call and she told him to help her because Jigs had gone to tell her father that her mother was alive. That was where we ended….
