Episode 75
We started with Chelsea asking her friend to drive her to the
hotel where Phil was having dinner with Pinang.
Phil was enjoying himself with Pinang during dinner and he
told her that he loved her. He gave her the gift box he had bought and asked if
she would like to be his girlfriend but before Pinang could answer, Chelsea
arrived.
Chelsea realized that she was intruding and turned back
immediately after she saw them. Phil got up to talk to her and asked her why
she was there. Chelsea said it was a mistake and wanted to go away but Pinang got
up and asked her to join them for dinner. Phil agree with Pinang and they got a
waiter to bring Chelsea a seat.
Phil helped Chelsea order and she started complaining
immediately that the food was not good.
She talked to Phil in Portuguese and he asked her to speak in English so
that Pinang would not feel left out. Chelsea asked whether she did not know any
Portuguese and Pinang said that she knew how to say ‘obrigado’. Chelsea
remained unimpressed as she taught Pinang how to pronounce the words correctly.
At home, no one could sleep because they wanted to make sure
that Pinang got back home alright. Marcy, Emil, Mackie, Julian and Grandpa Apo
all stayed up waiting for Pinang to return.
Pinang stepped out for some air to return Miggy’s text because
she and Nars wanted to know how the date was going. Pinang texted back and told
them that nothing much had happened because Phil’s mother showed up. They
called Pinang back and she told them that she was about to answer Phil’s
question about whether she could be his girlfriend but his mother showed up.
Pinang was worried that Chelsea did not like her but Miggy told Pinang that it
did not matter. Pinang said that she would have her answer ready if Phil asked
her again.
Phil asked Chelsea what she was doing and she said that she also
did not know. She now felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave but Pinang refused
to let her go. She ate the food heartily after saying that she did not like it and
Pinang commented about it to Phil. They both started laughing and Chelsea asked
what was wrong. Phil laughed as he told her about liking the food. Chelsea put
the fork down and suddenly said that she would be going home. Pinang said that
she wanted to leave too because she had work in the morning. Phil asked her if
she did not want to stay for dessert and Pinang said she was fine so Phil asked
for their bill.
When they got outside, Phil told Chelsea that they would
drop her first but Chelsea wanted them to take Pinang home first because it was
more practical. Phil told her that he wanted some alone time with Pinang so he
would drop her at home first. Chelsea could no longer argue with that. He
however forgot his credit card and went back inside to get it. Pinang tried to
chat with Chelsea and offered to tour her around San Isidro but Chelsea said
that it was not necessary.
When Phil got back, they drove Chelsea home first. He finally
had some time with Pinang and apologized for his mother’s behavior. He said
that he would deal with the situation and get his mother to give her a chance.
He then drove her home.
Marcy was the only person who was awake when Pinang got home.
Pinang told her that she did not want to be happy with Phil knowing that it
would affect Marcy because she knew their relationship was strained because of
what happened in Singapore. Marcy however asked her to think about herself.
When Phil got back home, Chelsea tried to apologize to him but
Phil said he was not mad. He asked Chelsea whether she did not like Pinang because
of Nanny Marcy. He added that he wanted her to give Pinang a chance because she
had changed him and he liked the man he had become because of her. Chelsea took
offense and said that Pinang had fixed all the things she had done wrong. She
then went to bed.
When Chelsea woke up in
the morning, Phil had left a note saying he had gone to take Pinang to
work but he had already prepared breakfast.
Emil talked to Marcy about Chelsea belittling Pinang and he
felt guilty for failing to give Pinang the best education and better status.
Phil picked Pinang up and when he dropped her off at work,
he told her that he really loved her. Mackie and Julian went to see Pinang at
work and told her that they would defend
her if Chelsea harassed her. Doctor Joselito sat on the table beside them and
listened in on them.
When Phil got back home, he told Chelsea that he wanted to
show her around San Isidro so that she could see why he liked it so much there.
Episode 76
Phil took Chelsea out on a picnic and Chelsea could not stop
complaining about all the leaves and how quiet it was. Phil was setting up the
eating basket when Arsing, Badong and Roger bumped into their spot. They had a
chat with Phil for a while and they noticed that there was a caterpillar on
Chelsea’s neck. Phil panicked and was about to get if off with his hands but Badong
stopped him. He took a bar from the food basket and beat it off of Chelsea’s neck.
Chelsea was super upset and she told Phil to take her to the hospital.
There, they were rushed to the ER and Chelsea told Phil how
much she hated the Philippines.
Pinang assisted Doctor
Joselito with an elderly woman who kept asking for her son. Pinang told her to
pretend that she was her son and the woman was grateful, saying that the man
who married her would be lucky. Joselito watched Pinang and said that she was
perfect. Phil was in the next room and went inside to tell the Doctor that
Pinang was indeed perfect. Everyone was surprised by his intrusion and Phil told
them that he had brought his mother there. The doctor and Pinang both went to
see how Chelsea was doing.
Doctor Joselito treated Chelsea and prescribed some medicine
for her. Phil went to get it at the pharmacy while the doctor gave Pinang a cold
compress to help soothe Chelsea’s irritated skin. He asked if he should assign
a different nurse there because he had heard her conversation with her brothers
but Pinang said that she was fine. When the doctor left, Pinang tried to apply
the compress on Chelsea but she shouted at her not to do it and backed away.
She almost fell off the bed but Pinang held her up. Chelsea took the compress
from Pinang and said that she would apply it herself.
Chelsea was later discharged and Phil drove her home. She was
upset and went to sleep immediately.
At school, Yohan fouled Julian during football practice and
the couch threatened to suspend him if he did not check himself. Yohan was mad
that Julian was winning over him and he decided to come up with a good plan to
make him look bad to the team and to Margaret.
Lotlot went to see Mackie at work and found him fooling
around with Monica. She was upset on the way home and Mackie explained to her
that he was only doing what she had advised him; to restore Monica’s confidence
and make her feel included.
Pinang told Nars and Miggy what happened and they were upset
with Chelsea for shouting at Pinang. Pinang however suggested that she wanted
to get Chelsea something. Joselito heard
them and suggested that chocolates were a good idea. After work, Pinang went
with Nars and Miggy to get fruits and chocolates for Chelsea. They dropped them
off at Phil’s house and were happy to find Chelsea asleep. They left to go home
soon after.
Nars and Miggy took Pinang home first and they also told
Marcy about Chelsea shouting at her. Pinang defended Chelsea and said that
she was only panicked because she was ill and anyone could have done the same
thing. Marcy however did not buy into the explanation.
Phil brought food Chelsea and fed her even if she protested
on it. He then gave her medicine and left her to rest as he went to work for a
while. Later, he got a mobile bed and went to sleep beside her so that he could
watch over her as she slept. Chelsea commented on his change and thanked him
for taking care of her. Phil said that Pinang took care of her too but Chelsea
said it was her job because she was a nurse. Phil showed Chelsea the fruits
that Pinang had brought for her but then dropped the issue adding that he did not
want to pressure her into doing something that she did not want.
The following day when Phil went to pick up Pinang to take
her to work, Marcy took the chance to go see Chelsea so that they could talk
about Pinang. Marcy told Chelsea that she had to stop being selfish and think
about what made Phil happy because he and Pinang had nothing to do with what
happened with them.
Chelsea thought about Marcy’s words and decided that she
would give Pinang a chance. When Phil got home, she told him that she was
willing to go on a dinner with Pinang to know her better. Phil was overly
excited and suggested that they meet Pinang’s entire family because it would be
fine and reduce the formality. Chelsea felt overwhelmed but she agreed to do
it.
Phil called Pinang first to give her the good news then went
to see Marcy and Sir Emil to tell them about the dinner. Emil said that he was
willing to give it a try for Pinang’s sake. Marcy agreed too, making Phil very
happy. We ended as Phil hugged Nanny Marcy…
