Episode 95
We started with Sir Emil telling Phil that his mother called
Pinang to tell her about the loan they owed him and that was the reason why
Pinang wanted to go to Dubai.
Pinang ran into Arthur; Rose’s father at the hospital and he
told her that things were going well now that Terrence and Phil sold their
company. Pinang was surprised because she did not know and Phil had said that
he did not want to sell.
Pinang wanted to leave to go see Phil and Nurse Malou let
her go. Meanwhile, Phil went inside to look for Pinang and he missed her.
Pinang was outside waiting for a tricycle when she saw Phil’s motor bike
outside so she went back inside to look for him. Nars and Miggy told Phil that
Pinang had just left and he went back outside to look for her.
They finally saw each other and Pinang was in tears as she
apologized to Phil for not telling him about Chelsea’s call because she did not
want them to fight on her account. She added that she only wanted to help him
but Phil only looked at her. He kissed her as Nars and Miggy applauded in the
distance and then told her that he loved her. They hugged and Doc JM saw that
they had reconciled.
Pinang told Phil that she did not want them to fight like
that again and Phil told her that he might not promise that because they were
only human but he would always love her.
Phil called Chelsea and told her never to call Pinang again especially
if it was about his money. Chelsea wanted to send Phil some money but Phil
absolutely refused to it because Chelsea would still make it about Pinang.
Margaret was bored at home so she texted Julian and he asked
her to go out for a walk with him. Margaret asked her mother for permission to
go out with her friends and her mother let her go. She met up with Julian at a café
and Margaret’s mother followed them there. She asked to join them and ate with
them as she scrutinized Julian.
Once Pinang made up with Phil, she was back to her jovial
mood and Phil joined in on her family sessions like before. Marcy and Emil looked into different ventures
to earn more money so that they could pay off their loans. Marcy got
information about a food Bazaar in Manila and Pinang asked her to do it and
said that she would help as well. Meanwhile, Emil looked for new suppliers for
his agricultural products.
Lotlot’s mother told her that she would go to Canada to meet
her father and wanted Lotlot to go with
her but Lotlot said that she and Mackie
would be getting married. Her mother was disappointed but she still
congratulated them.
Nars and Miggy invited Doc JM and Nurse Malou to go out with
them. They talked a lot about Pinang and Nurse Malou asked why they always mentioned
her in their stories. Miggy said that
they had been friends ever since they were young and they were always together.
Nurse Malou asked them to live their own lives as well and Miggy said that they
were doing that by having different friends.
Phil and Terrence travelled to Manila to finalize selling
their company and learn how they would be working. They were unable to meet
their boss because she was out on a trip but they were integrated into the
company. They also got a company car because they had to commute from San
Isidro to Manila.
Phil picked up Pinang in his new car and when they got home,
Marcy arrived with Elsa and shared the good news that they had space on the
Bazaar. Emil suggested that they have a little get together to celebrate and
everyone agreed to it.
Phil and Terrence got up early to leave for Manila and
started their first day. When they arrived, they ran into a lady and Phil asked
to get her door but she said she could do it herself and went in. Terrence
laughed at Phil and they went in.
Episode 96
Phil and Terrence got their desks at one of the cubicles and
an enthusiastic colleague welcomed them. He introduced them to the rest of the
staff but they did not pay any attention to him. There were papers all over
their desks and their workmate told the others that ‘Robot boss’ was around and
the others rushed to get their papers.
Terrence and Phil were asked to go see the boss and the
stern woman introduced herself as Sofia. She asked both of them to call her
that and said that they would receive their orders from her alone. She said
that their previous clients would be handled by Junior app developers and since
they were both seniors, they would handle the bigger account. She gave them
details about a big medical company and asked them to develop an app for them.
Phil called Pinang after they left the office and she asked
him how things were going. Phil said that things were going fine and even joked
about the boss being referred to as a robot not knowing that she was behind him
listening.
Sofia asked Phil who had told him about the nick name but
Phil refused to tell her. Sofia decided to punish everyone since his loyalty
did not lie with her. She pushed all their deadlines to the end of the day and
hence no one could leave until all the work was done.
Julian invited Margaret to his house for the party but her
mother picked her up and said that they had
a dinner to attend to so that Margaret could not go.
Margaret was not happy with her mother’s interference and
she asked her grandmother to talk to her mother so that she would stop being
too strict.
Phil and Terrence made a presentation for the work they were
given but when Sofia went over it, she told them that it was not good enough
and asked them to re do it. Phil was therefore not able to make it to Marcy’s
dinner. He went to see Pinang after he arrived and told her that her day was
not complete if he did not see her.
Terrence called Phil
late into the night and told him that Sofia had sent a message with more
revisions that they had to make so he had to get up and do it. They both did
not have enough sleep and had a hard time at work the following day.
Phil called Pinang during his break and he told her that he
had a hard time staying awake because he did not sleep well and he had drunk
all the cups of coffee and energy drinks that he could manage. Nars, Miggy and
Doc JM were listening in and Doc JM suggested that he do something to keep his
heart pumping. Pinang suggested squats and Phil did 15 of them. He stopped
getting sleepy and was able to come up with an idea for the app.
Julian brought Margaret some food from the party and asked
how her dinner went. Margaret told him that they just stayed home and her
mother had only said that so that she would not go to his house. Julian suggested
that they study hard so that Margaret would pass her finals and her mother
would stop being strict.
Margaret wanted them to hangout after school but Julian had
to go home for a family meeting because they planned on outlining tasks to help
Marcy set up her food Bazaar. Margaret said she wanted to help and Julian told
her that she was welcome to it.
Doc JM also agreed to help share Marcy’s Bazaar to his
friends in Manila so that they would go see it. When Pinang went home, she
outlines tasks to everyone and they were all set.
Phil arrived later, tired from work and he fell asleep even
before Pinang plated the food for him. She got a pillow and sheet for him and
he slept at her house. In the morning, he was embarrassed for falling asleep
but Marcy said it was better than to drive when he was tired. She also packed
him some food to take with him to work.
Phil and his team pitched the app idea to Sofia but she was
on her phone through most of the presentation. She then criticized it and said
that she would not even buy it; calling it cheesy and boring. She mumbled that
it was no wonder Phil sold his company and Phil got mad. He told her that she
could give her opinion without resulting to insults, and said that they would
review the app according to her comments. Sofia was surprised by Phil’s confrontation
and we ended as Phil left the board room…
