We started with Leah working on Clark’s profile but she kept
getting distracted because of his picture. She then went to see him at his apartment and since Clark
did not answer, she walked right in.
Clark got out of the bathroom shirtless
and Leah could not help but stare. After putting on his shirt, he scolded Leah
for going into his apartment and she apologized. She then handed him the
divorce papers for him to sign but Clark said that he did not have a pen! Leah
gave him one but Clark walked to the counter and poured coffee all over the
papers when Leah was not looking. She complained that it was too late to get
another copy since it was the weekend and Clark said it was okay to wait till
Monday. Angela then arrived and Clark invited her for coffee so that Leah would
feel jealous. Leah then excused herself and left.
The following day, Leah told Simon that she was invited to
Aunt Jack’s birthday and asked him to go with her. Simon said he had a meeting
but would follow her after it was over.
At the club, Aunt Jack welcomed Leah and she gushed about
how excited she was since it a proposal was also going to happen. She did not
get around to telling Leah whose proposal it was since Clark arrived and then
Angela. Clark said that he had a surprise for Angela and took her hand. Leah
could hardly look at them as Clark walked Angela to the podium and then Jiggs
appeared. Jiggs got down on his knee and asked Angela to marry him. Leah was
dumbfounded when both Clark and Aunt Jack went to congratulate them.
Leah told Aunt Jack that she thought Clark was dating Angela
and Aunt Jack said he was wrong because Clark never dated anyone else after she
left. When Clark joined them, Aunt Jack commented that the last time they were
at the club for her birthday; it was also their wedding so it was their wedding
anniversary.
Jiggs asked Leah to dance while Aunt Jack asked Clark to
dance. They then switched so that Clark and Leah could dance together but they
did not want to. Jiggs asked them to do it for his mother so they ultimately
started to dance. They were having an intimate moment but Simon arrived and
interrupted them.
As Leah was congratulating Angela and Jiggs, Simon was busy
tricking Clark into asking for a girl’s phone number. He told Clark that he
would pay her a thousand dollars if he managed to get it and he too would do
the same. Clark got a girl’s hotel room number instead and he presented it to
Simon. Leah was there too and Clark told Simon that it was his turn but Simon
told him that the only girl he was interested in was Leah. He then gave a very
angry Clark his 1000 dollars. Later in the evening, Clark saw Simon
affectionately kissing Leah’s hand.
In the meeting with Art Mart the following day, Leah
presented her new campaign to Clark but he said that he was still not pleased
with it. Leah asked him what he wanted but Clark said that he didn’t know and it was their job to come
up with something that pleased him. Simon suggested that they incorporate
Clark’s entire working process in his campaign and Clark agreed to try that
concept out.
Simon was suspicious of Clark and wanted to take Leah out of the campaign but she told
him not to since she wanted to make him
lose at his own game.
The following day, Leah went to see Clark at his workshop
but Clark was not there. He arrived and told her to get in his car. He took her
to an amusement park and Leah wanted to leave him but Clark told her that he
was the client. Leah went back to him and Clark told her that his process
included having to unwind so that he could concentrate on his work. As they
walked around the park, Leah was on her phone all the time so Clark took it
from her and it fell in the water as they were fighting for it. Leah got mad
but Clark apologized to her and promised to get her a new one.
They got into Clark’s car and they were en route to Lake
Tahoe where Clark’s workshop is. They stopped along the way to for ice skating
and had a laugh. Leah tried to warm her hands and Clark took them in his hands
to warm them. He almost kissed her but he pulled away just as Leah was
anticipating it.
Leah got Clark to stop again so that she could call her
office and tell them what happened to her phone. Simon was upset that he could
not reach Leah so he called Aunt Jack and demanded to get Clark’s number or he
would report him for kidnapping Leah. They also announced on the TV that there
would be a storm around Lake Tahoe.
We ended as Clark and Leah arrived at Clark’s Lake Tahoe
workshop…
