Episode 93
We started with Doc JM putting ice on his hands because had
gone bowling again with Nars and Miggy. Nurse Malou was happy to see that he
had been going out and enjoying himself.
Doc JM asked her for the phone number
of one of the doctors and Nurse Malou said that she’d send it to him.
Later, Pinang received a job offer from Nurse Malou to be an
assistant to a doctor who visited patient houses and she accepted it. When Phil
picked her up, he asked her why she was taking extra jobs since it would be
tiring for her and Pinang said that she
would be fine and she just wanted to do it for the experience.
Lotlot and her mother had an argument because of her father
who left them 20 years ago. Her mother wished he would return but Lotlot said
that if her father ever returned, he would not have a daughter waiting for him.
Nars and Miggy had a meal with Doc JM and they knew that he
was the one who got Pinang the job. The doctor admitted it and said that he knew how hard it was to be short on
cash especially if one was a bread winner.
Sir Emil collected Phil’s money from the bank and went to
his house to give it to him. Phil was confused because it was not yet the end
of the month and Emil explained that they wanted to give him an advance because
Pinang said he was having problems with
his business and after giving them all of his savings, the least they could do
was pay him. Phil wanted to return the money but Emil told him that he would
feel insulted if Phil refused to accept the money.
Phil was upset that Pinang and her family struggled to give
him an advance payment and also realized that it was the reason that Pinang was
taking extra shifts because of him. When he went to pick her up, he was in a
gloomy mood and she asked him if he was upset. Phil said he wasn’t but he
clearly was. He told Pinang that he did not want her to overwork on his account
and she said that she only wanted to help him.
Grandpa Apo decided to make broom sticks to help out with
the payments too but he felt dizzy and almost fainted. He was with Arsing,
Badong and Roger and they took care of him.
Pinang was sad when she got home and Phil was not with her.
Marcy invited her to eat some snacks with her and Emil but she said she was
fine and went to her room to rest. Pinang spoke to Mackie about her problem
with Phil and how she only wanted to help but Mackie told her that Phil was
hurt because of his pride since he was the man; he only told her about his
problems so that she could help and not for her to do anything.
The following day, Arsing, Badong and Roger were on edge as
they worked with Sir Emil and they finally decided to tell him about what
happened to Grandpa Apo. Emil told Marcy and they gave Grandpa Apo some
medicine even though he said he was fine. He felt dizzy again and they took him
to his room to rest. Emil called Pinang to tell her that Granpa Apo was not
feeling well.
At work, Nars and Miggy noticed that Pinang was not in
a jovial mood. They asked her what was
wrong and she told them about her fight with Phil. She was about to tell them
what happened when Emil called to tell her about Grandpa Apo not feeling well
and that he refused to go to the hospital. Pinang told Nars and Miggy that she
had to go home to get her grandfather since he did not want to go to the
hospital. Doc JM arrived at the cafeteria for lunch and Miggy told him to help.
He agreed and left with Pinang.
Nars was upset with Miggy for involving Doc JM but she said
that they had to find a solution. Nars decided to call Phil and tell him what
happened. On the way home, Pinang texted Mackie and Julian.
Margaret’s mother picked her up from school and invited
Julian to have a meal with them but Julian said he had to go home because his
grandfather was not feeling well. Margaret was worried and her mother noticed
her concern. When they got home, Margaret’s mother asked her to go to Manila for
her school break but Margaret said she would think about it.
Doc JM treated Grandpa Apo since he did not want to go to
the hospital. Phil arrived later and he was not happy to hear that his best
friend fell ill while trying to make broom sticks. Doc JM asked Grandpa Apo not
to exert himself so that he would not get sick again.
Phil made up with Pinang but he was still upset because of
all the efforts that her family was making to pay him back. He called Chelsea
but decided not to tell her anything and hang up. Chelsea called Phil’s friends
from Singapore and they told him that Microdele had stolen Phil’s app which was
why they were having problems.
Lotlot went to see Mackie in the middle of her work to tell
him what happened to Grandpa Apo. Mackie was moved by her efforts and instead
of going home, he followed her back to school to propose to her. He got her
students to carry banners with words “Will You Marry Me” written and Lotlot
said yes!
Phil took Pinang back to work after Grandpa Apo felt better.
When she was inside, Chelsea called her and told her to pay Phil back his
money!
Episode 94
Pinang talked to Nurse Madel about her application to Dubai
and she said that she would get her application papers the next time that she
went to the agency. Nurse Madel also suggested that Pinang get a recommendation
letter from a doctor since she was yet to acquire the required two-year
experience.
Nars and Miggy overheard the conversation and demanded
Pinang to tell them why she considered going to work abroad. Pinang told them
that Phil’s mother called her and asked that they return Phil’s money.
Miggy talked to Doc JM about Pinang’s plan to work in Dubai
and asked if he could write her a recommendation letter for her job
application.
Phil went to see Terrence at his house and decided that it
was time for them to stop brooding over what Microdale did to them and look for
another viable app that they could sell.
Pinang was in a brooding mood when she got home but Mackie
managed to cheer everyone up when he got home and told them that Lotlot agreed
to marry him. Pinang could not sleep and Marcy joined her outside. She asked
Pinang to tell her what was bothering her but Pinang said that she did not want
to burden her.
Phil picked Pinang up the following morning and drove her to
work. He and Terrence met with a potential client later but he suggested to buy
their company and give them jobs in their company. He sent them the contract
and asked them to think it through. Terrence wanted to accept the offer and
argued that it would be more stable and other companies would not be able to
steal from them. Phil was skeptical about it because he did not want to give up
the company that they had worked so hard to built.
When Phil talked to Pinang about the offer, he said that he
did not know what to do. Pinang asked him what his heart told him and Phil said
that he did not want to give up making decisions and working by his own rules
and Pinang told him not to sell the app.
Nurse Madel got Pinang the application papers for the job
and Pinang called Phil. She asked him to go to the hospital so that they could
talk. As she waited for him, Doc JM gave Pinang the recommendation letter that
she needed in case she decided to go forward with her decision. He asked her to
ask for any help that she needed and Phil was there to hear everything. He got
mad at Pinang for asking help elsewhere and making a decision without telling
him about it first. He told Pinang that she did not respect him and Pinang
tried to explain to him why she was doing it but he stormed out of the
hospital, got on his bike and rode away. Nars and Miggy saw the argument and
followed Pinang outside. When Phil left, they hugged her as she cried.
Margaret’s mother asked her about moving back to Manila with
her but Margaret refused to go. She said that she wanted to stay in San Isidro
and keep her grandmother company.
Pinang tried to call Phil when she walked home from work but
he turned off his phone. When she arrived home, Marcy did not let her put her
bag down and took her out for a meal. She made Pinang tell her what was wrong
and Pinang told her about Chelsea’s call. Marcy told Pinang that she did not
want to burden her with their debts so she and Emil would take care of it.
Marcy was mad when she got home and told Emil what Chelsea
did. They decided to prioritize Phil’s loan and pay it out first so that
Chelsea would no longer harass Pinang.
Phil went to see Terrence and told him that they should just
sell the company since it was the best decision for everyone. Terrence also
talked to Phil about Pinang and told him not to throw their relationship away
since Pinang had only been trying to help.
The following morning, Phil did not take Pinang to work, it
was Emil who did. Emil told Pinang that she had to tell Phil about his mother’s
call because she should not be keeping things from him. Phil arrived just as she went in and talked to
Sir Emil instead. He apologized for not picking up Pinang and Emil said he
understood because couples usually fought but he would not condone it if
someone else interfered in their relationship. He told Phil that Pinang wanted
to leave for Dubai because of him and his mother. That was where we ended…
