We started with Angelo telling Yna that he liked her and Yna was dumbfounded. He added that what he liked was her straight forwardness but warned her to be careful with how she approached people especially when she didn’t know who they were. He also accepted her apology and asked her not to do it again.
When Yna had gone to see governor Eduardo about helping Caloy get released from prison, Eduardo told her that he could only do that if there was proof that someone else was behind the gumbling den where Caloy was arrested. The investigation said that people staying at Casa Corazon could be involved so Yna offered to investigate since she was working at the resort and report anything she found out to Eduardo.
Belen came back from seeing Caloy in prison and when she got home, Isko told her about the new boss who had arrived. Belen got upset because Isko did not seem to care about their son.
Yna saw a guest arriving at the resort and when some of the workers went to help him with the two briefcases that he was carrying, the man refused to let them help him. He unfortunately bumped into one of them and one briefcase fell down. Bundles of notes spilled out and he hurriedly collected them; once again refusing to let anyone help him. Yna found the scene suspicious and went to ask one of the workers about the guest. After she got some information about him, she texted David; Eduardo’s assistant and told him that she had something to tell the governor.
David relayed the message to Eduardo and Eduardo told him to set some time free in his schedule so that he could see what Yna had to tell him.
Angelo gathered the workers and asked the kitchen staff to get ready since they were all going out that evening. Takong; Yna’s friend at the resort went to help her and gave her a lovely dress to wear that evening.
Angelo was dumb founded when he saw Yna and had to be roused back to reality since it was time for them to go. Miguel tried to fit as many people as he could in his car but unfortunately, there was no space for Yna so he suggested that Yna ride with Angelo.
Angelo took Yna to a different restaurant from the one the rest went to. Yna did not like that Angelo had taken her out; just the two of them as if it was a date but he assured her that they were there to work since he wanted to improve the menu for the resort.
He ordered all the food on the menu and Yna was simply aghast. She dug into the food immediately it was brought but decided to act more mannerly when she saw how Angelo ate his food. She laid the napkin on her lap and started sipping her soup slowly. Angelo noticed how uncomfortable Yna got so he asked her to just be herself. Yna dispensed with the cutlery and decided to eat with her hands instead. She sampled almost everything that was on the menu.
As they ate, Angelo asked Yna about the peculiar tastes she found in the food and was impressed by how perceptive she was. He therefore asked if it was okay for her to help with the restaurant menu. Yna was very happy to do it.
Yna went to freshen up in the bathroom and her phone started ringing. Angelo went to see who it was and saw that David calling her. Yna returned and took the call; David told her that the governor had set up an appointment for their meeting.
The following day, Angelo talked to the chef, her assistant and Yna. He said that he wanted to make revisions on their menu but the chef was a little stoic saying that the menu she had created had made the resort prosper long ago. Angelo told her that times had changed and they needed to adjust if they had any chance of saving the resort. They therefore decided to make some dishes as samples to see what they could add. Yna was delighted to go first although both the chef and her assistant did not think she could do much.
Yna however wowed everyone with her dish; it didn’t even have a name. The chef was very impressed and said that Yna’s dish would be added to the menu. As everyone tasted Yna’s dish, she got a text from David telling her at what time he would pick her up. Angelo had his eyes set on Yna all the while and he noticed it.
When David arrived to pick up Yna, Angelo peaked at them but hid himself so that they wouldn’t see her. After they left, Angelo was left bothered because David had told Yna that the governor was waiting for her. Liya later called Angelo and asked him to visit her at home since she missed him.
We ended as David drove Yna to see Eduardo.Please share your views...
