We started with Mona helping Ana with her therapy. After they were done, Ana asked Mona for her phone to call her brother. Mona was skeptical about it but agreed to give Ana her phone. When Ana called Jonathan, his line was off. Mona took her phone back but Ana asked if she could call Gael. Ana said she could trust Gael to help her but Mona said that she had to leave urgently and left with the phone.
During dinner, Miss C and her team talked about the kidnapping of Rowena, the reporter who made a documentary about Salvador. They wondered why terrorists would kidnap a journalist and Xander said that they did it to cause attention since they were after something else. Miss C commented that Salvador would soon get involved in the issue.
Rowena’s mother went to see Salvador to ask for his help in saving her daughter from the terrorists. Miranda and Salvador explained to her that Salvador could not simply get involved since the government had already appointed a negotiation panel. Rowena’s mother begged for his help since they had been his supporters from early on and Salvador said he would do his best to help.
Gael found out from his HR manager that Samantha had been getting his secretaries fired for months. He confronted her about it and Sam said that she only did that to protect him since she did not want what happened with Ana to happen again. Gael told Sam not to mention Ana and asked that she not meddle in his decisions since they were not in a relationship.
Samantha was determined to stay with him so she asked Miranda for help. Miranda said she could not help her with Gael because he was determined to contradict what she said. Miranda told Sam to take a hold of Gael by using something that will make Gael stay with her.
Ana talked to Miss C and asked if she could call Gael. Miss C told her that she did not trust Gael since he was working with the people who tried to kill her. Ana said that Gael loved her and she was sure that he had nothing to do with what happened to her. Miss C however said that she would not let Ana contact him. She asked that they focus on Ana’s recovery fast. Ana saw a landline phone when she was alone and used it to call Gael.
Samantha went to see Gael to apologize for what she had done. She said that love made one do stupid things. When Ana called, Samantha and Gael were asleep. Samantha heard the phone ring and took the call. Before Ana could say anything, Xander came and snatched the phone away from her. Samantha called back but there was no answer so she deleted the call from Gael’s phone.
Miss C talked to the others about Ana wanting to contact Gael. They suggested that Miss C tell Ana the entire truth, that Salvador was the reason why her parents died. Xander scolded Ana for trying to call Gael and said that she did not know anything. He asked her for the evidence she had against Salvador and Ana remembered the recorder. She told Xander that she had it before she got shot and did not know where it was. Xander told the others about the recorder and asked Miss C if she took it when they saved Ana. Mona said that Ana only had her medallion with her. Xander and Yvonne were mad that they had waited 6 months for nothing. Chito suggested that they expose Ana to the public but Miss C refused since Salvador would only go after her again.
Salvador talked to the other politicians and volunteered to negotiate with the terrorists. They however refused since it was too dangerous and Salvador was not qualified enough.
When Miss C brought Ana her food, she asked why Ana used the telephone. Miss C told her that Salvador would go after her again if he found out she was alive. Ana however said that they were hiding something from her. She pointed out how Xander reacted when he found out that she did not have evidence against Salvador. Miss C told Ana not to doubt the people who were trying to help her.
Salvador talked to the press and announced his intention to negotiate with the politics. Miss C watched the news with her team and they noted that Salvador had gotten involved. Xander said that he was putting himself on the line since he was sure that he would succeed. Miss C therefore said they would investigate Rowena and find out what was really happening. They decided to infiltrate Rowena’s office and find out her connection to Salvador.
The terrorists released a video through Rowena, giving Salvador only 24 hours to speak to them. Hilary and Sam did not want Salvador putting himself in danger but Salvador still went ahead to do it. He met with the military. He asked to negotiate with the terrorists but the soldier incharge refused to let him go since it was against protocol. Miranda took a video of Salvador talking to him and posted it online to help him win the favor of the citizens.
Xander, his uncle, Chito and Yvonne went out on their mission to infiltrate Rowena’s office. As they were leaving, Ana saw them handing guns to each other and became suspicious. She questioned Mona about their group and what they were up to. Mona asked her to trust them and assured her that they were good people. That’s where we ended…
