I am damn well sure you guys remember the most successful Filipino soap Opera of all time, The Promise; otherwise known as Pangako Sa Yo (unless by some unbelievable unfortunate incident, you never got to watch it…. Pole sana kama uko nje, :-P) The epic show was top billed by the ever gorgeous and talented Jericho Rosales (Angelo) alongside the beautiful Kristin Hermosa (Yna). They will not feature in this one however the only person I know that will have the fortune of having her name credited on both shows is Jodi Sta. Maria

She played Lia, Angelo’s sister back then but she is all grown up now as 15 years tend to do that and she will re-price the role of Amor Powers in the 2015 remake.

As you are all curious who will play the two coveted lead roles, I will fill you in; Kathryn Bernado and Daniel Padilla will re-price the roles of Yna and Angelo respectively...(Foreign names, I know but that’s why am here, to tell you all that you don’t know. The two are one of the biggest teen heart throbs in the Philippines, collectively known as Kathniel.)

 These are very big shoes they have to fill, and we wish them the best and cross our fingers that we get to watch it here in Kenya. Good news, the Trailer is already out and you can watch it on you tube using the link below... Pangako Sa Yo Trailer



Today's Tip: Bet you guys did not realize those are two different cover photos from the promise. The first is Jericho and Kristine while the last one is Daniel and Kathryn....  :-P Got Yah!!!
