Lip-Syncing; The KeMPhi Way....

KeMPhi is looking to do more than just write and watch Soap-operas all the time, we are also looking to expand our experiences as fans by getting ourselves involved and having fun while at it. Our Twitter parties are getting more people joining them while more people are also sendinging their KeMPhi Stories for the world to read. Our next venture will be  Lip Syncing to our favorite Soundtracks and I hope that you are all in for this!

 Lip Syncing means 'to move the lips in synchronization with recorded sound', according to my dictionary. What I want us to do however is sing along with the song as it is playing. Since we are yet to get over our Forevermore feels, we will sing along to the show's soundtrack, 'Forevermore' by Juris Fernandez. Please download it if you are yet to and learn the lyrics.

What we are then going to do is record ourselves while singing the song and send the video via email to kemphi7@yahoo.com using the subject title 'KeMPhi Lip Sync'.

The next step will be to mesh up all the videos in order to make a full video for Forevermore soundtrack and post it on our newly opened You Tube Channel! I hope you're excited to feature in a music video.... :D
Before we start recording ourselves, there are a few things i need us to consider first;

1. This is a music video, so i need everyone to have as much fun as possible.Be as creative as you can, sing it to your boyfriend/girlfriend, invite your friends to join in, groove to the music, feel the music. We need to have people enjoy watching it, so i don't want to see bored people.
2. Record the video in good lighting so that we can see your face.
3. Use a good quality camera if you can... (ata kama in ya simu...)
4. Make sure the song is audible in the video. you might have to mime along to the song so that your voice doesn't outdo the song, or use speakers to play the song.
5. The upload limit for emails is limited, we might not be able to send in full videos. Pick randomly the part of the song you will send if you have to reduce the size of the video but if you can be able to send in the entire song's recording, it would be much preferable. 

I don't know how many videos I'll get but I'm hoping for enough. I'll give you a few days to learn the lyrics and practice your lip syncs. We'll have a 48 hour window for you to send in your Videos; and this will be from 10th November at noon to 12th November at noon.
Please make sure your video is in my inbox by Saturday noon so that we can edit them upload them on our You Tube channel! Remember to enjoy yourself!
