Introducing Beautiful Strangers…




Beautiful Strangers is the show replacing My Faithful Husband on KTNKenya after its two month run. The show is a GMA production from 2015 led by Lovi Poe, Heart Evangelista, Rocco Nacino, Benjamin Alves, Christopher De Leon and Dina Bonnevie.
 This show is about two girls, Joyce played by Lovi Poe and Kristine played by Heart Evangelista. Joyce is a girl with dreams to make it as an interior designer and start a family with Noel, played by Rocco Nacino. She therefore foes to work for the Castillo realty company to achieve her goal but everything goes wrong when Ronaldo played by De Leon, the owner of the company attempts to rape her. He fails but ultimately tries to kill her by burning her but Joyce survives. She however gets selective amnesia and does not remember who she is. It is then that she meets Kristine and their lives become entwined to complete the story of ‘Beautiful Strangers’.

We will learn more when the show premiers on the 2nd of March on KTNKenya. It will be good to see Heart Evangelista and Lovi Poe again since we last saw them in Legacy and also get to know a few new faces from Filipino showbiz.
With this introductory post, I would also like to address a few issues…

1.The Number of Episode- This has been one issue that has gotten me in a lot of trouble so I really want us to let it go from now on. I am ever skeptical with this issue because it is the one thing one can never really be sure about. It does not matter whether Wikipedia says a series has 100 episodes while KTN only air 60 of them, you can be assured that they would never stop airing a program half way. The episodes we watch are compressed to fit one hour episodes but the number sited by Wikipedia is the actual number of episodes that a serye aired in the Philippines. These also 30-45-minute-long episodes so the number we watch is guaranteed to be lower every single time. Factoring in that we don’t know how many episodes are compressed to make a one-hour episode and there are also some cut out scenes, there is no way of knowing how many episodes we watch on our end. I hope you understand this because I will no longer answer the “how many episodes are left” questions. 

2. Spoilers- My Faithful Husband was not plagued with a lot of Spoilers but things got pretty bad when we neared Munding’s death. Pretty much everyone knew she would die before she did. I would like to emphasize that Kenya Meets the Philippines strictly operates on a “NO SPOILERS” policy and I always warn against this at the end of every recap. Please let’s try as much as possible to take heed of this request and if you are the type to look up spoilers, take care not to post them on our comments sections. Some of us actually enjoy the little surprises that come with not knowing how things will happen. If you are predicting or speculating I am not against this but state your prediction clearly so that I do not mistake it for a spoiler… (sorry to those I have called out because of their predictions)

After some months still living in pain and bitterness I told a friend of mine about the issues, My friend told me he'II introduced me to Dr Wale he said that Dr Wale is the only man that can bring back my happiness. He said to me his marriage is perfect today with the help of Dr Wale. When I reached out to Dr Wale and told him everything that was going on he told me to be calm and that I'II be a happy man again. Dr Wale instructed me to make payment for Items needed. The magic started when my woman gave me a call two days later crying on the phone begging me to please have mercy on her. She said she doesn't know what came over her that made her behave badly. We're now back together living happily again like we used to before.
