| James Reid and Nadine Lustre |
Jadine is one of the most popular love teams in the
Philippines right now. The tandem is composed of Filipino stars and real life
partners, James Reid and Nadine Lustre.
James Reid rose to fame after winning Pinoy Big Brother 2010 while Nadine has been in the showbiz
business since she was a child. She was a member of an all girl group called “pop girls” and also did shows for GMA
and TV5 before she and James got signed to VIVA artist agency and moved to
ABSCBN.
James and Nadine first met when Nadine starred on James’
music video back in 2013. They were then paired together for their debut movie;
Diary ng Panget (Diary of an ugly person). The movie was
an hit, bringing to life the Jadine tandem and they continued to be paired
together. The success of their love team ultimately led to Jadine headlining
their first teleserye together; On The
Wings of Love.
The show was highly successful too and as Jadine got to
spend more time together, their fans started speculating that they were dating
in real life. They denied the rumors since they were close friends at the time but
in February last year, James announced that he loved Nadine during their “Jadine in love” concert in front of their fans.
The news made headlines as Jadine revealed that they were
only a few weeks into their relationship. After On the wings of love
wrapped up, Jadine were offered another teleserye; Till I met you. A year later, the couple is still together and has
been touring around the USA. Both of them are also amazing singers and are
trying to produce music too.
Jadine's On the wings of Love is currently showing on star times Novela E Plus weekdays at 8 pm.
