During our second year anniversary post, one person pointed out that it would be nice to know what some of our favorite stars from long ago have been up to. This was Mburanya wa Miloso who suggested this and one of the people she really wanted to know about was John Estrada. With this in mind, John Estrada is going to be the first person that we will feature in our newest Looking back category, titled "Blast from the past."

We first saw John Estrada in one of the most successful Filipino Soap Operas ever, The Long Wait (Kay tagal kang Hinintay) back in the early 2000s. John Estrada played Boris, the right hand man of Henri Argos as well as the love interest of twins, Lorea and Lorinda. His costars included John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo and Lorna Tolentino.
John Estrada; now 43 is still among the veteran actors in the Philippines and we have watched him in many other shows. He starred in Hiram as Edward, Destined Hearts (Dahil May Isang Ikaw) as Daniel and most recently in No greater love (Ikaw Lamang) as Don Gonzalo.
In 2016, he starred alongside Jericho Rosales in Magpahanggan Wakas and is set to star in another serye  titled Kung Kailangan Mo Ako this year.
As for his personal life, John Estrada has five children; four with first wife Janice De Bellen. Janice De Bellen is an actress and among the seryes we saw her in was Her mother's Daughter (Ina, Kapatid, Anak) where she played Margaux's mother, Beatrice.

 John and Janice were married for 9 years but annulled their marriage in 2002 after John Estrada was linked to another actress, Vanessa Del Bianco (Felicity from The Promise, 2000). Their eldest daughter, Inah Estrada is now an actress signed to GMA.
John Estrada later married Brazilian beauty queen and actress, Priscilla Meirelles back in 2011 and the two have a daughter together.
