We started with Gian Carlo opening the door for Tenten.
Tenten got so surprised and intimidated; his lisp came back and he Gian Carlo
asked if it was Serena’s room.
Tenten walked away dejected and when the valet brought his
truck at the front of the hotel, he gave him the money that Gian Carlo had
given him as a tip then told him about
the ice that Gian Carlo wanted.
After Tenten left, Gian Carlo gave the flowers to Serena and
told her that the staff member had gotten the order wrong. He explained that
his flight delays that made him think flying out from Italy to see her was a
bad idea but on seeing her, he knew he had made the right thing. Serena told
him that she could hardly believe that he had flown to the Philippines to see
her and that was delighted by his surprise.
When the ice was brought, Gian Carlo poured some champagne
with Serena, Nanny Meds and Franco. Gian
Carlo wanted to get a room but Franco insisted that they all share Serena’s
hotel room and add another bed since it was big enough for all of them. They
got a mattress delivered to the hotel room and Gian Carlo shared it with Franco
as Serena and Nanny Melds slept on the bed. Gian Carlo was unable to sleep as
Franco clung to him and Serena got up to ask him if he was fine. Gian Carlo
insisted that he was fine (he clearly was not) and told her that it was her
fault he had gone to the Philippines since Serena had gushed about how
beautiful it was and he wanted to go see
it for himself. He told her that he had purposely delayed the care package so
that they could take it to Bohol together and Serena assured him that he would
love it there.
Meanwhile, Tenten arrived home looking as if the world had
crushed on his shoulders. Binggoy wanted to know how things went with Serena
but Tenten shook his head and went to bed. He thought about how Serena had
gushed about Gian Carlo and after seeing him, Tenten’s confidence was gone.
In the morning, Serena
tried to call Tenten so that he could introduce him to Gian Carlo. He
did not answer her call so Gian Carlo took her and Nanny Melds to get the care
package instead. Nanny Melds was very happy with the gift.
That evening, Tenten told to his parents and Binggoy what had happened with Serena and that she was
betrothed to Gian Carlo.They empathized with him and said that he still had a
chance since Serena was not yet married but Tenten said that Serena was in a level up in the moon while he was on the ground and
all he could do was gaze on her from below. He asked that they respect his
decision to stop seeing Serena. Binggoy felt sad for Tenten and he shared the
lower bunk with Dodoy and Taps so that he could give Tenten some privacy to
think about his situation.
Tenten ignored
Serena’s calls the entire day and she began to worry about hims so she went to
look for him at work but Tenten hid and JJ covered for him. JJ told Serena that
Tenten was out and had left his phone so Serena left.
Serena’s next option was to go see Tenten at home but Gian
Carlo said that he had a meeting. He told Serena that he was excited to meet
Simon so he asked her to invite him for dinner.
When tenten got off
work, Serena was there waiting for him and she asked him if he was avoiding him
and if everything was fine with them. Tenten said he was fine but his lisp kept
betraying him. He said he just forgot to call her back. Serena asked him where
he was because he had not been at work and he said that his boss had sent him
on an errand. Serena asked Tenten if he was done with work and Tenten said he
was free for the night. Serena invited Tenten out for dinner so that he could
meet Gian Carlo but he refused. He said that he had a date and grabbed a girl
who walked past them. It turns out that the girl really liked Tenten and was
delighted to go out with him. Serena left after that and Tenten ended up
booting the poor girl. Taps was upset with Tenten for using someone else to
avoid Serena. She told him that he should not involve other people in his mess
with Serena and he should go tell her that the two of them could no longer be
friends.
Serena told Nanny Melds about the incident with Tenten and
Melds told her that she should deal with the fact that Gian Carlo had flown in
to see her and she was using the incident with Tenten as an excuse so that she
would not face Gian Carlo.
Gian Carlo went for his meeting accompanied by Cardo. When
he got back to the hotel, Gian Carlo asked if he would meet Simon but Serena
told him it was not possible and invited Gian Carlo to go out with her instead.
Tenten told Taps that he was glad to know that he was
capable of loving and that was enough for now. We ended as he said that he was
just going to be a friend to Serena…
