We started with Angelo telling Liya the good news that their
father might be released soon.
Liya asked him where Eduardo would stay and he
told her that he would live with them. Liya said that it was about time she
looked for a new place to stay but Angelo told her to stop saying stuff like
that adding that she would go with him to visit their father the next time
without any excuses.
Ligaya agreed to go to Lloyd’s party so she went through an
array of clothes that she had to choose for the event. She tried on high heels
but she almost fell on them but Angelo was there to catch her. Liya, Monay and
Ichu also helped her pick out the make-up.
David was not able to meet with Yna because he had to
accompany Chelsea to look for a pastry chef for their restaurant business.
Angelo delivered some cupcake samples to Lloyd’s father as
he had requested but he asked that they be taken to the meeting room and he
left since he did not have time to taste them. Yna happened to be in that
meeting and when she tasted the cakes, she loved them! She wanted to know who
had delivered them but there was no name on the delivery box. She took a sample
to give to David then left her calling card with the receptionist so that she
would tell her once she found out. Yna tried to call David to tell him about
the cakes but his phone could not be reached.
At the meeting with Chelsea, David tried to text Yna too but
she did not reply. He excused himself to call her but her phone was turned off.
The man they met said that he knew a bakery shop in Manila and he would take
them there the following day.
In the morning, David caught up with Yna on the morning run
and asked her why she could not be reached. Yna said that her phone went off
and then David proceeded to tell her that Chelsea already found a pastry chef.
Yna got upset because they were making decisions without her. She said that she
had a cake sample as well and asked David to consider the one she had chosen.
Chelsea joined them so Yna excused herself and left.
Angelo was decorating the cakes he was supposed to make for
the party at Lloyd’s hotel and Ligaya helped him decorate his lemon cake
because it was too dull. Angelo was happy with her work and promised to hire
her if he ever got the deal.
Yna complained to Takong about how David always talked about
Chelsea and he told her that she sounded jealous. Takong asked her if she was
in love with David; If she was already over Angelo but all Yna said to all of
his questions was that she did not know.
David called Amor to ask her if Yna was jealous of Chelsea
because he noticed that she had been acting irritable but she did not confirm
it. She told him instead not to be afraid of pursuing love even if he might get
hurt.
On the day of the event, Ligaya dressed up and looked
stunning. Angelo had also bought a pair of flat shoes for her because she could
not walk on heels and he was mesmerized when he saw her. He was on the phone
with Lloyd and he told him that Joy (Ligaya’s real name is Joy so do not get
confused) was ready.
As they were packing up the pastries in the car, Lloyd arrived
and said that he wanted Joy to ride with him. Joy did not want to ride with him
on her own so she asked Angelo to go with them. Lloyd did not mind so the three
of them rode together.
When they arrived, Angelo went to deliver the pastries in
the kitchen while Lloyd went to introduce Joy to his father and brother.
Andrew; Lloyd’s brother did not believe that Joy was Lloyd’s girlfriend so he
asked them to kiss. Their father told him to behave and apologized to Joy. Angelo
helped the staff lay out the pastries then went back to the table to join Lloyd
and Joy.
When the food was brought, Angelo only had to take one bite
to realize that Yna was the one who made it. He excused himself and left to go
to the kitchen to see if he could find her. Yna was at a corner plating Angelo’s
cupcakes so he was not able to see her.
Lloyd also excused himself to go to the bathroom and left
Joy by herself. His brother Andrew went to sit with Joy and asked her whether
she was only with Lloyd for the money. He told her that if all she wanted was
money, he could be better than Lloyd.
Angelo could not see Yna from where he was standing so he
asked one of the workers if he could go inside the kitchen. She allowed to go
in because he was the one who brought the pastries and we ended as Angelo
walked toward the kitchen…
