We started with Belen watching the news of Eduardo’s release
on the TV.
She turned it off and was irritable the entire day. Red called her
to tell her what was happening and Yna asked him to take care of things until
she got back home.
Angelo went to pick up Liya at school but she did not want
to go to school. Liya was not excited to learn that Eduardo would be released
and said that she had something to do at school. Angelo told her that she could
do her projects another time but she had to go with him to get their father.
After Eduardo was released, Angelo gave him a passionate
hug. Liya was in the bathroom and when she came back, Eduardo went to her. As
they were leaving, the press talked to Eduardo and he said that his current
plan was to get a job and reconnect with his family.
They held a mini welcome party at Sir Greggy’s house and
everyone welcomed him warmly. Ichu and Joy also went to welcome him and Angelo
introduced them to him. Everyone was excited except Liya who left and said that
she needed to rest.
When Yna went home, Belen was scolding her employees for
their incompetence. She even attacked one of them for saying that Isko was the
one who messed up things and Yna tried to stop her. Belen shoved her but then
had to apologize because Yna got hit by a washing machine.
The following day, Angelo made cakes with Ligaya to deliver
to Kus Yna. He asked her to taste them to verify whether the new ingredients
from Yna were okay and Ligaya said that the cake was perfect.
Angelo delivered the cakes to the restaurant but as he was
untying the basket from the bicycle, the entire load fell down messing up the
cakes. Angelo apologized to Yna, David and Chef Sam. They decided to have Angelo
bake the cakes at the restaurant so that the problem would not occur again.
Angelo said that he usually had a girl helping him and Chef Sam said that it
would not be a problem and they would pay her as well.
The next day, Yna kept peering at the door waiting for
Angelo to arrive. Takong teased her but Yna ignored him and went to answer a
call. It was Red asking her to check if he left his pens in her car. Yna went
downstairs and saw Ligaya arrived with Angelo. Angelo helped Ligaya off her
bike and then helped her remove her helmet. He then cupped her face in his
hands and told her that he brought her there to talk to him because he had no
one to talk to at the restaurant. Ligaya said she was nervous but Angelo asked
her not to be because there was nothing to be nervous about.
Yna watched them but then went back upstairs to freshen up
before they saw her. She tidied her hair in the bathroom and spanked her cheeks
to add color to her face then walked out. Ligaya had already met David and Chef
Sam when Yna walked over and greeted her. She asked what they should call her
and Ligaya said that they should call her Joy, and then playfully hit Angelo
saying that he was the only one who called her Ligaya. David and Chef Sam had a
meeting so they left Yna with Angelo and Ligaya.
Eduardo started looking for a job immediately after he got
released and received some very lucrative offers but he turned them down. He
seemed like what he really wanted was a job at Power Corp and he went to their
offices to ask for work. The interviewer called Amor to tell her that Eduardo
was there for an interview and he wanted to ask her the way forward.
After the call, Amor decided to return to the Philippines
and told Betty May that she had to attend to an issue at Buena Corp as well as
Yna’s grand opening. Betty May however noticed a change in Amor and said that
she was glowing.
As Angelo made the pastries with Joy, they were playful and
having fun and Yna could barely keep her eyes off them. She chopped the carrots
in fury and Angelo turned back to tell her that the carrots felt pain. Yna gave
a tight smile and said that she was trying out some new chopping methods.
Yna continued to watch Angelo and Ligaya and she did not
even watch where she was going. She walked right into a door and fell down;
pouring the flour she was carrying all over her. Angelo and Ligaya went to help
her but she said she was fine. She went to the bathroom to change.
After the cakes were ready, everyone gathered to taste them
but Yna ended up choking on hers. Both David and Angelo rushed to get her a
glass of water but David got to the pitcher first. Angelo walked back in disappointment
as David handed Yna the water. Angelo said they had to go and left with Ligaya.
Liya was able to pay Amboy back the money she had borrowed
from him after Angelo gave her the money for her project. Eduardo noticed that
Liya was not home so he went to get her at school but Liya snubbed him. She
said that she still had classes and let. Eduardo however waited for her until
she was done to take her home.
Yna was a little moody so David said that he had a surprise
her to cheer her up. Amor appeared and surprised Yna saying that she had
arrived early to surprise her. Yna was excited to see her and prepared some
food for her.
When Yna went home, she could not stop thinking about Angelo
and Joy. She had star shaped decorations on her ceiling that reminded her of
Angelo and she decided to remove them. That was where we ended…
