ON THE WINGS OF LOVE Episode 41

We started with Aunt Jack leaving for the Philippines after learning that her mother had a stroke. She left Rona in charge of her house.

Rico went to see Jigs and check on how his grandmother was doing but he also had to keep Jigs from fighting with Clark again. Jigs told Clark that it was his fault that their grandmother was hospitalized and Clark told him that it was his nature to blame everyone but himself for what happened.
Clark however felt guilty for what happened and when he went to see her in her room he apologized to her for causing her distress after she had loved for him and cared for him. Grandmother Pacita woke up and told Clark that it was okay because he had not done anything intentionally; but because of love.
Jigs was drinking his sorrows away when Aunt Jack walked through the gate. He asked her why she was at home and his mother told him that she had to come because her mother had a stroke. He asked Jigs why he had been drinking and Jigs asked her if she was there to lecture him. He got up and smashed the bottle he had been drinking on the wall. He told Aunt Jack that he felt as broken as the glass because he had lost Leah thanks to her favorite nephew. Aunt Jack was sorry for Jigs and she hugged him as he cried.
Leah felt guilty for causing the rift between Clark and Jigs and felt guilty for their grandmother’s sickness but Tiffany told her that it was not her fault at all since things were going well before Jigs returned. Leah contemplated going to see Grandma Pacita at the hospital but after talking to Tiffany, she decided against it. Tiffany told Leah that Clark understood why she could not go because she might run into Jigs.
Aunt Jack took care of her mother at the hospital until she was discharged to go home. Grandma Pacita scolded Jigs the moment she got hime because he had not gone to visit her but Jigs said that he could not go because she was with her favorite grandson. Clark was upset with Jigs’ answer and the two started arguing again. Their grandmother asked them to stop fighting for the sake of her health because they did not seem to respect her even after she raised the both of them. Aunt Jack helped her mother into the house as Clark told Jigs that they should put an end to their fights.
Later, Clark apologized to his Aunt for fighting with Jigs immediately after their grandmother arrived home. He told her that he was willing to do anything for the sake of their family except leave Leah. He also told her that he was planning on going to ask for Leah’s hand in marriage and since she was the closest person he had to a mother.
As Aunt Jack talked to her mother, Grandma Pacita asked her to talk to Jigs and set him on the right path before he lost control of his life. She told her that it was Jigs who was wrong since he had to accept that Clark and Leah were in love. She asked Jack to go with them as they went to ask for Leah’s hand in marriage because she was like Clark’s mother but Aunt Jack said she would not go because it would hurt Jigs.
Tiffany took Gabby to meet Adrian’s parents and they asked if they could see their grandson more often. Tiffany agreed but let Gabby go without her which disappointed Adrian.
Jigs cornered Leah as she went home from work and asked if they could talk. He was a little drunk but he begged Leah to hear him out. He told her that he was now a different person because he had changed in America, gotten a job and worked hard so that he could be worthy of her. Leah told him that she was happy for him ad although she did not want to hurt him, she loved Clark.
After the talk Jigs went home extremely drunk and disrupted dinner for everyone because he found them talking about how Clark was going to ask for Leah’s hand. Everyone asked him to behave but he said that if they wanted peace in the house, he and Clark could not live in the same house together. He suggested that Clark should leave since he had been staying there longer. His grandmother took offense and said that it was still her house and she was the one to decide who lived there. Jigs decided to go since he was not wanted but Aunt Jack told him to calm down since that their grandmother had not meant for him to leave. Clark got up and said that he would be the one to leave because Jigs was right; there would be no peace in their house.
When Aunt Jack went to talk to Jigs about making Clark leave, he ran into her arms and asked her why everyone chose to abandon him. He told her that his father had left him, she had left him and now Leah had left him. He asked why no one ever chose him and begged his mother to choose him. Aunt Jack held him to her as he cried in her arms.
Clark went to stay at the shop where Kiko and Axle brought him pillows and blankets to use. Leah also went to see him and was sad that he had to leave his house. We ended with Clark telling her that he would fight to be with he no matter what happened…
