We started with Diego getting imprisoned for getting
involved with a drug pusher and this caused governor Zalameda to withdraw his
support for the Buenavistas and the stock values for their mines plummeted.
The Buenavistas continued to go through financial trouble especially
when one of their major shareholders sold his shares. It turned out that he had
inside information about the company and knew that their business was not doing
well so he sold his shares in time. The new shareholders were upset by the turn
of events and wanted an explanation from the Buenavistas.
The chef who had employed Amor was the one who tricked her
into telling her the truth about the company since Eduardo had already told her
what was happening. She went to see Amor and asked her not to say anything to
Eduardo if he asked because she could get into trouble.
When Eduardo asked Amor if she had said anything, Amor
denied it. This gave the chef enough time to flee to Hongkong and Amor had no
choice but to tell Eduardo the truth; that she was the one who leaked the
information. Eduardo got mad at Amor and didn’t contact her for two days.
Claudia found out that her mother was diagnosed with Cancer
when she suddenly collapsed. She told Claudia that she wanted her to have a
good life before she died. Claudia went to see Benita to ask for her help and
Benita asked Claudia to help break up Eduardo and Amor.
After Diego was released from jail, he went to see Amor. He
went out with her to try and asked her to stay with him for a little while
since he wasn’t doing so well. He confessed that he liked her and was heartbroken
when he found out that she was dating Eduardo. He tried to kiss Amor but she
backed away but he forced himself on her. Claudia had followed Amor and Diego
and she saw him rape Amor.
Meanwhile, Eduardo had been waiting for Amor to apologize to
her but she never showed up. He also heard gossip from the office that Diego
had courted Amor first. When he went to look for her at the hostel, Betty Mae
told him that she had left with Diego.
Diego took Amor home but she was devastated. She told her
father what happened and when Eduardo went to see her, Amor’s father kicked him
out for failing to protect his daughter.
Eduardo confronted Diego and asked him if he too was in love
with Amor and Diego admitted it.
Amor filed charges against Diego and he was taken to jail.
Benita went to see him and asked him to deny the charges because it would
destroy their family and Eduardo would never forgive him.
Claudia was paid by Benita not to reveal that Diego had
rapped Amor and she wanted to use the money
to get her mother into a better hospital. When she went to see her mother
though, she had already passed away. Claudia was devastated and searched for
Simone to support her but he was nowhere to be found.
Simone came back days later with his inheritance money and wanted
to give it to Claudia but Claudia told him that she never wanted to see him
again and left.
Meanwhile, Amor and her family were kicked out of their
house but Amor said that Eduardo would help them. We ended as she went to his
office to try and see him…
