We recently saw Two wives on KTN Kenya and I think most of
you guys would agree that the replacement, Losing Heaven have some similarities
to it. We have the theme of the Two Wives repeated with both male leads leaving
their first wives, marrying their second wives and then eventually returning to
the Second wives. We are almost becoming experts at annulment Filipino laws due
to the many annulment themes we’ve seen on both shows and I almost fell of my
seat when they mentioned concubinage on Losing heaven. I think I’m an expert at that particular one,
and it’s a shame it’s not a crime in Kenya because I would make a great lawyer
on the concubinage cases.
Apart from these similarities, I think that the lead
characters play the same roles as well. I therefore want to know from you guys
which of them you think played their roles better!
Jason Abalos played Victor on Two Wives having married both Yvonne and Janine while Mike Tan who Plays Jonas on Losing Heaven married Ellery and Brigitte! I don’t think these two guys receive much love so I’ll ask instead, which one do you love to hate more??
2. The first wife; Yvonne vs Ellery
Yvonne was played by Kaye Abad in
Two Wives while Ellery is played by Carla Abellana on Losing Heaven. The Two
have been through a lot courtesy of their husbands and we can’t hep but admire
their strength and tenacity as they try to get over the hurt and betrayal. So
who wins for you here?
3. The Second Wife; Janine vs Brigitte.
Janine was played by Erich Gonzales on Two Wives while Brigitte is being played by Michelle Madrigal on Losing Heaven. The Two have been labelled the ‘husband snatchers’ and they win many points as far as home wrecking goes. There are times however when we identify with their actions so who do you think is more deserving as the person you understand and can see yourself following their example if the same thing happened to you?
Patrick Garcia played Albert in
Two wives while Will Devaughn plays Waldy on Losing heaven. These are the tenacious
guys who have gone through it all for the women they love although they still
remain in the abhorred friend zone! Waldy however gave up on Ellery and started
dating Janice, which I’m sure he’s kicking himself for since Ellery is filing
for annulment and leaving Jonas. Waldy might have to give up this role after the recent introduction of a certain Councillor Enrico Fernandez played by Frank Magalona but who do you think wins between Albert and Waldy?
These little stars have major
roles to play on these to show and they give their best to their characters.
