Diego Loyzaga and Sofia Andres, known together as Sofiego are set to headline their first
ever telesrye for ABSCBN as a tandem. The
tandem starred on Forevermore where 21-year-old Diego Loyzaga played Jay while 18-year-old
Sofia Andres played Cate.
The two met on the set of Forevermore back in 2014 where
they were able to get along even if they never had a scene together during the
show. They both played third wheels to Lizquen’s
characters; Xander and Agnes. Loyzaga’s character appeared on the
show right after Andres’ character had been written off. However, their fellow
costars, twins Joj and Jai said that
the two of them looked good together. The two have been doing minor projects
together since and they even won the award for Couple of the night during last
year’s star magic ball.

Three years later,
Sofiego are now headlining their first Teleserye together, Pusong Ligaw. The serye, a Star Creatives production is set to
premier on the 24th of April and will also star Enzo Pineda, Bianca King, Joem Bascon, Raymond Bagatsing and Beauty Gonzalez.
