The Heart and Marian rivalry continues…

Despite Heart Evangelista and Marian Rivera being the biggest names of the Kapuso network (GMA), the two do not get along due to an incident back in 2011 and people seem to have a kick out of pitting the two actresses against each other.

 The latest incident to plague the two celebrities made headlines for a few weeks and it was all about a shirt! Yes, a shirt. To be specific, it was a Dolce and Gabbana shirt.

This issue came about when one of Heart Evangelista’s friends commented on her OOTD posts on Easter during the time Heart and husband Chiz Escudero were in London for their Holy week vacation. Heart was wearing the Infamous Dolce and Gabbana brand shirt and her friend commented that Heart looked better than Marian did and even claimed that Marian’s shirt was fake! And so, started the rumor that Marian Rivera’s shirt was fake! Marian Rivera had worn the same branded shirt back in February and there were issues about the cut of the shirt she had worn among other things.

The issue got blown out of proportion and made headlines for a while which prompted Marian’s styling team to contact the Dolce and Gabbana offices from where they had purchased the shirt in order to verify that the shirt was not fake. Finally, it was confirmed that Marian Rivera’s shirt was indeed NOT FAKE and the issue has died down since.
