We started with Binggoy giving Tenten the money to pay for Dodoy’s treatment. He was discharged after
he was given medication that he needed.
Tenten then continued looking for work so that he could support
his family. Taps asked Tenten to go see Serena and thank her for dropping the
charges and the two of them went together. Tenten apologized to Serena for the
misunderstanding and thanked her for dropping the charges she had filed. Serena
told him that it was fine.
Before they left, they heard Serena argued with the
reception because she needed to get a car as soon as possible so that she could
reach Mr. Mossman who was in Tagaytay. Since there was no available driver,
Taps told Serena that Tenten would avail himself and drive her to the meeting.
After Serena left, her caretaker called to tell her that it
was not safe to travel with Tenten because of the rape incident but she told
him that it was all a misunderstanding because Tenten was harmless. She had to
hang up on him because he was nagging her.
Back in Italy, the media found out about the real situation
of the Marchesa Company revealing that they had been undergoing loses for the
past ten years and they had been covering it up. The issue blew up causing the
company to lose its partners while their share value decreased.
Luciana called Gian Carlo and asked him to help them with
the crisis that they were having and
that way Serena would see how much he loved her and fall in love with him
When Tenten took Serena to Tagaytay, Serena tried to talk to
Mr. Mossman but his guards refused to let her go through. Serena insisted to
talk to Mossman but the man told her that he had already gone through the Marchesa
proposal and he was not interested in doing business with them. The guards
carried Serena away because she was bothering their boss.
Roberto called Serena and told her the crisis that was going
on in their family. He asked her if she had met with Mossman and Serena said
she did but still needed to convince him. Roberto told her to forget about it
and return to Italy.
Serena did now want to give up so she went to Mossman’s
hotel and tried to get the receptionist to contact his room but the
receptionist refused to do it. She told Serena to go and Serena started to cry
because she was desperate.
They finally decided to return to Manila but on their way
back, Serena so a swarm of fireflies. She asked Tenten to stop the car and she
ran into the fields to try and catch a firefly. Tenten did not know where Serena
was off to at first and when he followed her, he saw her follow the fire flies.
Serena caught one and made a wish to be able to save her family.
When they got back in the car, Tenten and Serena talked
about how one could make one’s wishes come true.
Gian Carlo went to visit Roberto and the two had a chat
about Serena and how she loved the Philippines and her story about fireflies
and wishes. Roberto told Gian Carlo that he wished he had the insight to catch
a firefly and make a wish to get a billion dollars so that he could save his
company.
Gian Carlo also learnt that Serena would be returning from
her trip so when he left, he went to plan a special welcome present for Serena’s
return.
When Serena got back to her hotel, she was given the tickets
for her return flight to Italy and went to pack her stuff.
Tenten went home and read the letters from his Italian child
hood Pen pal because the story with the fireflies reminded him of her.
The next day, Tenten received a call from Serena’s hotel
telling him that he was needed there. He was paid for the services he gave
Serena and the manager said that he wanted to hire him to drive someone around.
Tenten was delighted with the news and we ended as Serena appeared since she would be his client. She did not
travel back to Italy after all…
