We started with Serena talking to Gian Carlo about their
fight. Gian Carlo did not let her speak but instead apologized to her for
making her cry, which was one thing he had promised himself never to do again.
When they got there, Gian Carlo was super excited and was
handed some pictures that he started laying down on the table for Serena to
see. Serena asked him what they were doing there and Gian Carlo explained that
the Philippines contained 7,100 islands and since Serena liked it there so
much, he was going to buy her an Island!!!! YES, AN ISLAND! He emphasized that
he wanted it to be close to Bohol so that Serena could always visit Nanny
Melds.
Serena was a little overwhelmed so Gian Carlo took her out
to a dinner table that was exquisitely set with flowers and candle lights and
continued to gush over the Island he intended to get her. Serena cut him short
and told him someone had once told her that there were three signs that told
you whether or not you were in love with someone; 1. You always thought about
them, 2. You always dreamt about them, and 3. You always had illusions about
them and saw them everywhere. Serena added that there was another crucial sign
and that was that you could see yourself being with that person in days and
years to come. Gian Carlo agreed with her until that point but Serena made it
worse from there when she told him that she had really wanted her heart to
choose him but unfortunately it had not happened and that she was in love with
someone else. Gian Carlo asked her who the person was and since Serena did not
answer, he asked her if it was Tenten. Serena nodded her head to mean Yes.
Gian Carlo was furious as he got up from his seat. He
screamed at Serena and asked him what a guy from the slums who could barely
take care of himself and his family let alone buy a decent pair of jeans offer
her. Serena said that Tenten was more than a pair of Jeans but Gian Carlo asked
her if Tenten was more than him. He asked her why she could not fall in love
with him instead because he looked like a fool chasing her across the world. Serena
told him that she wished she had an answer for him but she didn’t have one and
it was a puzzle to her as well since she had not been able to bring herself to
love the most perfect person she knew; him. Gian Carlo said that he was stupid
for acting like a prince charming and it would have been better for him to be
the villain in the story so that he could force Serena to love him. He turned
to leave but before he left, he told Serena that his father had been right when
he had told him not to trust a Marchesa and he would fly back to Italy to tell
him about everything.
The two returned to the hotel mad at each other and Gian
Carlo booked a flight back to Italy. He then asked his secretary to set up a
meeting with his father so that he could meet him as soon as he got back. Gian
Carlo then studied his predicament and decided to call Luciana. Nanny Melds asked Serena to call her parents
and tell them what had happened with Gian Carlo but she was not able to reach them.
Meanwhile, Tenten dragged Binggoy with him to look at
universities as he was now motivated to go back to school since Serena had told
him that if she had the kind of talent Tenten had, she would study music. When
the two returned home, they did not tell their parents where they had been
since Tenten wanted to tell them after he had been accepted. Mummy Taps however
pestered Binggoy until he told her and soon enough, everyone knew about it.
Mummy Taps and Dodoy both encouraged Tenten and told him that they would
support him with his education since he was the hope for their family.
The next morning, Serena was taking a stroll with Nanny
Melds as she told her that she had not been able to reach her parents since
they were on vacation. Nanny Melds told her that it was fine so that she could
try and patch things up with Gian Carlo. It was then that Franco called Serena
and asked her to return to the hotel. They thought Gian Carlo wanted to speak
to her but when they got there; they were in for a surprise as they found
Serena’s parents waiting. Roberto and Luciana had flown in from Italy and told
Serena that they wanted to surprise her. Gian Carlo joined them and said that
he knew about their arrival but he did not want to tell Serena because her
parents wanted to surprise her. Later, Serena thanked Gian Carlo for not
telling her parents about their issue but Gian Carlo told her to tell them
herself that she was in love with someone else.
Tenten had been trying to reach Serena but he was not able
to so he ended up calling Sarah instead to ask her how Serena was. She teased
him and asked him to call Serena himself. She then had a better idea and told
Tenten to go to her restaurant if he really wanted to know how Serena was.
Gian Carlo prepared a special lunch for the Marchesasa after
their arrival and they all drove to an Italian restaurant to eat only to be
welcomed by a lisping Tenten trying his best to speak in Italian. That was
where we ended....
