We started with Leah singing Karaoke at the bar after Aunt
Jack asked her to do it since she was a good singer. Clark sat on his stool and watched her sing
with a smile on his face.
Later, a girl approached Clark and asked him to get her a
drink; which he did. She started to flirt with him, and since Clark did not
like her, he told her that he was there with his fiancé. He called Leah over
and held her close to him as he introduced her to the girl. The girl got the
message and left him alone; which left Leah puzzled. She told Clark that the
girl was beautiful but Clark said that he was not into those kinds of women. He
preferred Filipina women instead.
As they were leaving the bar, Aunt Jack told them that their
answers were always contradictory so they needed to spend more time together so
that they could get to know each other. They complained about being busy so
Aunt Jack told them to start living together. They were livid! Aunt Jack argued
that they would have to live together eventually so they needed to start
getting used to it.
Leah went to Jack’s place where she packed her things and
moved into Clark’s apartment. She found it messy; as it always was and Clark
welcomed her with some ground rules. He told her that they needed to stay out
of each other’s lives and that the marriage was only a business arrangement.
They also had to split the bills and the last warning was that they were not
supposed to fall in love with each other. Clark also divided the apartment in
two; Leah was supposed to sleep on the couch as he took the bed since he was
not used to sharing his bed.
The living arrangement was difficult since Clark strutted
around the house shirtless which bothered Leah. They also had an argument about
sleeping with the lights off because Leah was afraid of the dark (they ended up
leaving them on), while Leah snored all through the night which kept Clark
awake.
The wedding day was fast approaching and Leah started having
doubts about marrying for convenience. She was afraid that her family would not
take it well since they viewed marriage as a holy arrangement. She talked about
her doubts to Aunt Jack and Jack reminded her that she would be giving up if
she did not go through with it.
Leah managed to send
some money to her family but she got a call from Tiffany later who told her
that their father had gotten sick and they needed to have him checked at the
hospital. It was at the time when she was having doubts about marrying Clark
but she decided to go through with after learning that her father was ill.
Clark overheard the conversation between Leah and Tiffany and told Leah that
she could take out the 1000 dollars that she was to give him as a deposit to
send to her family so that her father could go to the hospital and pay him back
later. Leah was really happy with Clark for his thoughtfulness.
The day of the wedding finally arrived and Aunt Jack took
Leah to a beauty parlor to get ready. Clark prepared himself back in his apartment.
Clark arrived first at the judge’s office then Aunt Jack who
was to be their witness walked in before Leah. When Leah finally walked in, she
looked stunning and Clark could not help but stare at her. Unfortunately for
Leah, the moment had a slight mishap when she tripped and almost fell down. She
however recovered herself and went to stand beside Clark. The Judge delivered
the vows in an instant and within minutes, they had agreed to marry each other.
The judge asked Clark to kiss the Bride and we ended with Clark and Leah
kissing…
