We started with Claudia meeting up with Mark and they
planned to make Amor and Eduardo break up.
Mrs. Salameda visited Amor to ask if she would partner with
her because her partnership with the Buena vistas did not push through. Amor
told her that she would not and Mts. Salameda was surprised that Amor was still
willing to partner with the Buena Vistas. She told Amor not to let the Buena
Vistas take advantage of her again.
Amor took Yna and her family to live in her house after
Caloy received death threats. Claudia wanted to go after them but her men told
her that Yna and her family were always heavily guarded so there was nothing
they could do.
Claudia went to see Eduardo and asked him where Liya was.
Eduardo told her that Liya did not want to go home and Claudia told him that it
was his fault. Eduardo said that she knew why he had done it and they started
to argue. Claudia told Eduardo that their plan was for him to manipulate Amor
and make her forget her plans of taking revenge on them. Eduardo said that he
had succeeded because he had managed to bring back the Amor he once knew and he
had done it for Claudia and for the children. Claudia told him that the plan
did not involve leaving her but Eduardo said that he still loved Amor and
choosing to marry her was a mistake. Claudia slapped Eduardo and left.
She had been recording their conversation and she gave the
recording to Mark. Mark edited the recording and left the part where Eduardo
said that he had managed to manipulate Amor into giving up her plans. He then
took the recording to Amor and had her listen to it. He also told Amor that
Eduardo went back to his house.
Amor was furious after hearing what Eduardo said and was mad
at herself too for believing Eduardo and getting fooled again.
After the argument with Claudia, Eduardo felt guilty about abandoning
his family so he went to get Liya and they returned home together.
Claudia had trouble in the office because the board members
threatened to take ownership of Buena Corp if they did not get their dividend
payments. Claudia cancelled the meeting that t they were supposed to have and
said that she would look for a solution. She went to Casa Corazon to see if her
gambling money was there but she only found a few bundles of cash. She called
Mr.P to ask where her money was and Mr.P said that she would get her money back
once Eduardo won the election.
Eduardo got ready for his final rally before the election
and was welcomed warmly by his supporters. During the rally, there was a lie
broadcast whereby an anonymous person named Eduardo and Claudia as part of a
gambling syndicate adding that they used Tax payer’s money to finance their
lifestyle. Eduardo and Claudia were not able to watch it because they were at
the rally but the press asked them about it. They were completely caught off
guard and did not know how to respond. The supporters there assumed that the
allegations were true and they started to attack him. Eduardo’s people got him
and his family out of there.
When they were safe, Angelo asked his parents if any of the
accusations were true. Eduardo denied it while Claudia said that their
opponents just wanted to discredit them because the elections were near.
Betty Mae realized that the slander was Amor’s work after
she saw her and Roma Christy exchange looks during the broadcast. She asked
Amor why she had done it after saying that she had forgiven Eduardo. Amor said
that she was willing to forgive Eduardo and let everything remain in the past
but Eduardo had taken advantage of her. She said that it was time to give
justice to the oppressed.
The day of the elections finally came around and Eduardo’s
team was afraid that they might lose because of the recent scandal. When the
tallying commenced, Eduardo led at first but in the long run, Ted was the one
who won the election. It was a close race and Eduardo’s team was devastated after
they lost.
Amor and Roma Christy
had a glass of wine to celebrate the loss of Eduardo since their plan had
worked.
Claudia was more affected than anyone else and she kicked
and screamed in her room after they lost the election. She texted Diego to go
see her because she was not needed his support and that was where we ended…
