Episode 90
We started with Phil waiting for Pinang’s call because she
had asked him to wait.
Pinang finished decorating the court with the help of Nars, Miggy,
Julian and his friends. Julian and Margaret stayed behind as the rest went
home. Pinang called Phil to pick him up at the court and Miggy and Nars helped
her get ready.
When Phil arrived at the court, it was dark and he wondered
what was happening. As soon as he arrived, the
lights went on and he was surprised to see the beautiful set up. Pinang
was standing in the middle wearing a beautiful flowery dress and she told Phil
happy monthsary. Phil rushed over to her and hugged her.
Phil the asked Pinang why she had done such a huge effort in
preparing the set up and Pinang said that she wanted to cheer him up because he
seemed gloomy. She thought it was because he thought that she forgot their
monthsary and hoped he was happy to see it. Phil was too overwhelmed and had no
words to express how he felt. He was embarrassed because he only got her a
phone case while she went all out. Pinang however gushed when she saw the
matching phone cases with ducks and told Phil that she loved them. The music
came on and the two started dancing.
Nars, Miggy, Julian and Margaret watched the two of them by
the sidelines and were envious to see how in love the two were. Margaret
started looking at Julian’s face as if to kiss him and he leaned over. Margaret
removed a piece of glitter and Julian smiled as he looked away. Margaret said
she had to go home and Julian offered to take her but she said that she would
call her driver.
Mackie went to see Lotlot before she finished work at school
and hugged her. He kissed her hands over and over and Lotlot asked him what was
wrong. Mackie sighed as he told her that Monica tried to kiss him but he turned
away. He added that he could not bear hurting her because he loved her so much.
Lotlot told Mackie that she had noticed that Monica liked him. Mackie
apologized to her and Lotlot asked him not to because he was only being kind to
her. Mackie wondered if she was fine and Lotlot asked if he was worried about
her. Mackie said he would only talk to Monica if Lotlot was fine with it.
Mackie visited Monica at her house and she was embarrassed to
see him there. She asked Mackie if Lotlot had been mad and Mackie said she was
not. Monica told Mackie she was sorry for making advances at him and explained
to him that it was because of her ex that made her drawn to him. He had left
her when she needed to take care of her family after they encountered some
problems unlike Mackie who did everything he could to help his family. She added
that she would leave the shop and Mackie told her that it was not necessary.
Monica said she would still leave and go home because her family needed her
there.
After the dance, Phil took Pinang home. They both waited
until midnight for their official monthsary and texted each other exactly at
12. Phil called Pinang when he received her text and they could not agree as to
who had sent the text first. They then wished one another good night.
Phil received a call from Terrence telling him that Tomas
had taken another job and they were not able to conduct teaching programs for
the app he had created. Phil had no choice but to go to Singapore to do the
classes before they lost more clients.
When Phil picked Pinang to take her to work, he told her
that he would have to leave for Singapore for a few days. Pinang told her that
it was okay because it was for work and he could use the time to see his
mother. They agreed to go out on a date
later during Pinang’s lunch break.
At school, Julian got invited to go to a party by the other football
players while the girls asked Margaret to play board games with them after
school. They were both skeptical to accept and Julian called Margaret to ask if
they had plans later. Margaret was about to ask the same thing and they both laughed.
They agreed to go out with their respective friends since they did not have
anything planned.
Nurse Madel asked Pinang if she could take over her shift
the following day because she had to attend to her documents. She was planning
on working in Dubai and told Pinang that if she wanted a referral, she would
give her one so that she could work abroad too.
At lunch time, Phil waited for Pinang outside and Doc JM
went to greet him along with Nurse Malou. He asked if he could call Pinang but
Phil said it was fine because he had already texted her.
Pinang received Phil’s text and wanted to leave a patient
but the lady got restless and asked Pinang not to leave her alone. Pinang
texted Phil back and said she was sorry because she still had a patient.
Doctor Joselito returned to the hospital and relieved Pinang
so that she could take her lunch break. Pinang rushed over to see Phil and
apologized for being late. Phil asked her how she managed to leave and Pinang
told him that Doc JM took over the patient and asked her to go.
Episode 90
Phil seemed puzzled and Pinang asked him what was wrong.
Phil told her that it was nice of the doctor to let her leave. They were about
to go for lunch when Nars and Miggy arrived to go to lunch but Phil and Pinang
looked in a weird way because they wanted to be alone. Nars and Miggy
understood and went ahead.
Phil wanted to take Pinang out to eat fish balls since it
was the first meal they had together. Pinang disagreed because she thought that
their first meal should have been during the time that they had developed
feelings for each other. Phil said he liked her from the moment he saw her and asked
Pinang when she started liking him. Pinang changed the subject immediately
because she did not want to tell him. Phil told her that it did not matter
because what was important was that she now loved him.
Pinang took Pinang to a restaurant and they had beef as she
told Phil that she found him handsome when they saw each other at the airport but
she found him a little arrogant. Phil was not listening to her because he was
looking over at Doc JM.
The doctor had taken James to eat at the same restaurant but
they left as soon as they saw Pinang and Phil there. Doc JM told James that
they could stay but James did not want him to feel uncomfortable so he
suggested that they go to another restaurant.
Margaret was playing board games with her friends and she
decided to text Julian to see how he was doing. Julian was having fun with his
team mates but he stopped listening to them as soon as Margaret texted him.
They texted each other back and forth until their friends complained and they
had to stop.
Julian told Mackie that he wanted to ask for permission to
court Margaret. They cornered Emil but before Julian could say anything, Phil and
Pinang arrived. Pinang went to her room to rest while Phil went home. Julian
had his chance but he walked all around the kitchen until Emil got annoyed. Julian
therefore asked if it was okay for his friends to come over for a project and
Emil said yes. He asked Julian if that was all he wanted to ask and Julian said
yes.
Margaret brought coffee to her grandmother and asked if it
was okay for someone to court her but her grandmother asked her to focus on her
studies first.
Phil left for Singapore and Pinang took over Nurse Madel’s
shift. She had to go home late and Doc JM asked if he could accompany her.
Pinang told him it was not necessary because her brother was on his way. Mackie
arrived soon after and Pinang left with him.
When Phil texted Pinang to check up on her, Pinang was
already asleep and they could not talk. In the morning, they were able to talk
and Pinang apologized for falling asleep.
Mackie decided to go look up wedding rings because he was
seriously considering asking Lotlot to marry him. He also got some brochures to
look at prices.
Nars and Miggy missed being with Pinang and forced her to go
out with them after her shift. Nurse Madel however asked Pinang to take over a
double shift because one of the nurses would not be available and Pinang agreed
to take it. Nars and Miggy were disappointed but they took up another shift too
so that they could all go home together.
That evening, one of Doc JM’s favorite patients died and
everyone was sad at the hospital. When Phil called Pinang later, he noted that
she was sad and she told him what happened. Phil played the song they had
danced to during their monthsary to cheer her up.
Julian finally asked Emil and Marcy if he could court
someone but Emil was curt and told him to wait until after he graduated just
like Mackie and Pinang had. Julian got upset and sulked the entire day.
Margaret asked him why he was in a bad mood and he told her that he had a
misunderstanding with his father. Margaret asked him to do as his father wanted
because he had the best interest at heart. When Julian got home, he did not
talk to Emil and refused to have dinner. Marcy told Emil that he had to talk to
Julian.
In the morning, Emil accompanied Julian to school and he
told her that if he did not focus on his education, he would not be able to
give Margaret a good future.
Pinang sought out Doc JM at work to see how he was doing and
found him at the chapel. She asked him if the lady was the first patient he
ever lost and Doc JM told him that it was his father. They had been broke and
had no money to take him to a hospital so he died and that was the reason why
he became a doctor.
After work, Nars and Miggy insisted on going out with Pinang
because they had not been able to for a while. They saw Doc JM leaving after
his shift and Miggy invited him to go out with them. Surprisingly, he agreed
and we ended as they waited for him to get his things…
