We started with Leah already back in Dubai. Simon went to
see her and asked about her father and Leah told him that her father was fine.
Simon told her that he was almost afraid that he would receive a call from her telling
him that she would not return to Dubai. Leah asked Simon why he would think
that and Simon said that it was because of Clark. Leah told him that she and
Clark and they decided to break things off.
Mr. Sol went to see Clark and he gave him back a necklace
that Leah had given him. Mr. Sol told Clark that it was not right for them to
give up on each other so easily but Clark told him that it was Leah who had
given up on them and he was tired of fighting.
Mr. Sol talked to Aunt Jack and he said that he felt guilty
because Leah would not have left if not for him. Aunt Jack told him that even if he did not
get sick, Leah and Clark would have broken up because they entered into their
relationship damaged; Leah because of Rona and Clark because of her father.
A month later, Leah had a video call with Tiffany and she
asked if there was any news about Clark. Tiffany said that Clark had not
visited them and asked Leah to call him instead. Leah said that she did not
want to because Clark had said too many hurtful things to her and he was the
one who was supposed to call and apologize.
Meanwhile, Clark was drinking himself silly and stopped
working. Aunt Jack went to ruffle him up and took him out to the poetry bar
with Jigs, Angela and their friends. They took photos that they uploaded on
Facegram and Leah saw then when she was at work. She saw Angela hanging on to
Clark and assumed the worst.
During a presentation, Leah lost focus and could not pitch
her idea well. Simon cut in and finished the presentation for her but he later
took her out and scolded her. He told Leah that he would not tolerate her shady
work anymore and she should get her act together before she ended up wasting
the opportunity that he had given her. Leah apologized to Simon and promised to
get her act together. Simon told Leah to cry or do whatever she needed to do to
get over her sadness but after that, she would return to her best.
After the night out, Leah was drunk so Simon took her to her
hotel room. She called Clark but passed out on her bed before Clark answered.
When Clark answered, he heard Simon on the other end of the line telling Leah
to get into bed. Since Leah was passed out, Simon had to put her in bed himself
and that was why he said that.
Clark was outside the bar when he got the call and right
after, someone tried to rob him. Clark let out all his frustrations on the guy
and punched him repeatedly. Jigs and the rest of their friends had to leave the
bar to stop Clark from beating up the guy.
The following day, Aunt Jack went to see Clark and asked him
what the previous night was all about. She asked Clark to talk to her about his
problems but Clark told her that talking would not solve anything. Aunt Jack
scolded Clark for giving up on everything after Leah left while his family still
needed and depended on him. Clark’s siblings walked in and he apologized to
them for neglecting them. He also promised to get his act together.
Simon made Leah breakfast the following morning and told her
that he stayed to watch over her. He also asked Leah to find an outlet for her
feelings like writing a journal or letters to Clark even if he would never read
them.
Leah decided to take Simon’s advice and started writing
letters to Clark. Months later, Tiffany and Tolayst got married but Leah was not
able to make it because she was not given leave. She asked if Clark was at the
wedding when they had a video call and Tiffany told her that he had just left.
Simon asked for his father’s advice because he was in love
with someone who loved someone else. Simon’s father advised him to give Leah
time and not pressure her so that she can heal from her break up and then
approach her.
A year passed and it was valentines’ day. Clark went out
with Jiggs and Rico. Jigs advised Clark to channel all the anger he felt about
the break up in his work and maybe something good would come out of it.
Back in Dubai, Simon surprised Leah with flower and dinner
at the office since she was working late. As they ate, Simon told her that he
hoped Leah would try to rebuild her life with him because he loved her. Leah
was surprised but told Simon that she could only care for him as a friend.
Simon told Leah that he understood and hoped to give her more time, hoping that
she would get to love him one day. That was where we ended…
